if your talking about outtake/intake ventilation ? for fresh air/co2 replacement and cooling ..
then you dont realy need one a intake vent .. just need a outake ventilation .. and just a passiv intake/s
(rule of thump is 3x the size as the ventilation .. etc. if you have a 4" ventilation you need 8-12 inche`s opening for fresh air ..
it pure physics .. as hot/old air is being pulld out (place it at the top .. hot air moves up) it will automaticly replace it from any holes or cracks (place the passiv intake hole to the bottom/floor .. cool air stays ther .. and if you have a window open somewher the fresh cold air will travel near the floor ..
if you want you can use one tho .. I have a old one (a 4" that got to small) .. so insted of it sit in my closed I use it to help pull fresh air/co2 in from a window through a tube to my passiv intake .. who still needs 2 more holes so to spack .. as I got a 6" as outtake vent ...
hope this help ?
and a link to a calcuator:

if you only plan on useing T5 and maybe upscale a bit with some CLFs (I would for sure .. you need more light .. after 2-4 weeks you dont have enough and in flowering it will produce flimsy buds)
then a normal bathroom ventilation or PC fan can work .. maybe you will need two ? dunno .. if you have hot temps in your place `etc.
can get some who is a littel bit more expensiv who make next to no sound .. and in a box .. maybe with a littel creativity and some isolation and tubeing Im sure it wont be a problem .. keep a radion on or sumthing .. or place a fish tank on top ..
remember also to get some kind of carbon filter .. can use them replacement once for cooker ventilations from "walmart" with a littel creativity .. they are full of activ carbon and cost like 10-20$ depending on size and modles ..
