PC fans my friend. I have a VEG tent just a foot taller than yours and with T5s you wont get too hot with proper ventilation. Go to radio shack and buy some pc fans. Look on the packaging for the amps, The higher the amps the more better they are. Grab about 4 (two for intake, two for exhaust) They are really really quiet. Next look for some old cellphone chargers either online or at a phone store (Not tmobile or at&t, one of those 3rd party stores that have a bunch of old phones and old chargers) Wire them up and install them to your tent. Always have intake near the bottom, preferably one intake on each side to maximize air flow. Exhaust can either be put together side by side at the top or spread from on side to the other like the intake its up to you.

if your talking about outtake/intake ventilation ? for fresh air/co2 replacement and cooling ..

then you dont realy need one a intake vent .. just need a outake ventilation .. and just a passiv intake/s
(rule of thump is 3x the size as the ventilation .. etc. if you have a 4" ventilation you need 8-12 inche`s opening for fresh air ..

it pure physics .. as hot/old air is being pulld out (place it at the top .. hot air moves up) it will automaticly replace it from any holes or cracks (place the passiv intake hole to the bottom/floor .. cool air stays ther .. and if you have a window open somewher the fresh cold air will travel near the floor ..

if you want you can use one tho .. I have a old one (a 4" that got to small) .. so insted of it sit in my closed I use it to help pull fresh air/co2 in from a window through a tube to my passiv intake .. who still needs 2 more holes so to spack .. as I got a 6" as outtake vent ...

hope this help ?

and a link to a calcuator:

if you only plan on useing T5 and maybe upscale a bit with some CLFs (I would for sure .. you need more light .. after 2-4 weeks you dont have enough and in flowering it will produce flimsy buds)

then a normal bathroom ventilation or PC fan can work .. maybe you will need two ? dunno .. if you have hot temps in your place `etc.

can get some who is a littel bit more expensiv who make next to no sound .. and in a box .. maybe with a littel creativity and some isolation and tubeing Im sure it wont be a problem .. keep a radion on or sumthing .. or place a fish tank on top ..

remember also to get some kind of carbon filter .. can use them replacement once for cooker ventilations from "walmart" with a littel creativity .. they are full of activ carbon and cost like 10-20$ depending on size and modles ..

IK t5's prob wont get hotter than 75 degrees so cooling wont be hard just need help with placement and size. its gonna be a 3 plant grow and im looking to get an ounce about every 2 months. I want the outake air to be turned into clean intake air. It will have 2 filters so no smell gets out and also it will be clean coming back in. The intake will be on the bottom left side and outake on top right. I want to use one pc fan per hole. What size should I use for the intake and what size for outtake? Once again it isn't really so much for cooling issues it's more less a good air flow strategy for the plants as temps wont be issue. Also, plants will be grown in soil in 3 gallon pots so they dont reach more than 3 ft ;leaving 1 ft of space from the light. I want it to be a closed air system. I want no air from outside mixing!

This all depends on your filtration method. Instead of picking up 4 pc fans pick up two. Set them up for intakes and then buy yourself a $20 6" duct booster fan. Use this as your exhaust and filter fan. You can then either buy a carbon filter or make a simple carbon chamber filter and stick it on the end. Also size for hole, really depends on the pc fans you use. unless im missing something. Also im not sure what you mean by closed air system? Im not sure if you mean outside air as in outdoors or outside the box? You NEED fresh air with co2 available. Whether you get it from your house or outside your house shouldnt matter as long as you are getting fresh air. with pc fans though you really dont have an option unless you go all out macgyver on your exhaust.

So I need 2 for intake,1 for exhaust? The exhaust should have carbon filter and ducting? Intake should be placed on left at top and bottom? Intake should have no ducting and be drawing air from room?
