Grow area for 6

Hi there second time grower here. What size tent would you recommend for 6 plants. Or would it be worth while building my own DIY grow area. Thanks (few photos of my babies below) 20210130_123818.jpg20210130_123835.jpg20210130_123841.jpg

For a bit of perspective, they are gorilla zkittlez and gorilla glue. Gonna aim to keep them in veg for 2-3 months until the weather picks up in the UK then gonna switch them to outside on really nice days and keep them under the light on worse days.

if you can build an area or use a whole room you are way better off no height restrictions and more space

If you’re gonna veg then for that long then youll most likely need a minimum of 1.5x1.5x2m tent MINIMUM.

3 months veg will have you with 3-4ft tall plants depending upon light source.

To grow 6x3-4ft tall plants you’ll need 1000w of HPS or 600w of LED for when they are that big.

also by sticking them outside on “nice” days (lol U.K. weather nice lol) is opening yourself up for pests to attack and take up residence in your tent.

I’m sure you’re planned for this already....but be careful taking them outdoor to indoor and vice versa too much. Very easy to get get bugs into the grow space.

As well, get a good working IPM in place...moving inside to out then back is inviting a host of possible issues ie bugs, moulds, etc.

Okay thanks mate. So I should be fine with a 2x2x2m tent? And thinking about taking them outside for a couple reasons, reason 1 is to hopefully save a bit of p (£) on electric and reason 2 is they say that sunlight is the best light a plant can have. But if the risk of pests etc outweighs the reward I'll stick to fully indoor.

150mm in-line fan, rhino pro filter 150mm, screen external intake, area is 3.5x7x8 but active area is 3.5x3.5.
