Imo what you want is a proper fade: leaves turning yellow/purplish/blackish. That way you know you got the chloropyll out of the plant and they will cure and taste better. To me you could have easily waited another week or so.I did flush for around 7 days. They didn't get any nitrogen from week 7 though, just pk and booster up until week 9, as I read they don't need any nitrogen late in flower and wasn't necessary is that right? This is when I started flushing with pure RO water for a week until chopping it down
With coco, dialed in enviroment and good intensity you can almost go crazy on nute strength up to the last 3 weeks. But you need to have your ec runoff controlled; cant go too high, we usually try to keep under 3, and then when you get closer to flush/finishing time you need it quite a bit lower for your flush actually to work. You can flush for the last 2 weeks if you want bit if that doesnt bring ec down to cannibalizing levels, then youve not made a successful flush. Its not by scedule, its by EC out so you cant build up too much as youre getting closer to flush. And then when you get ec down low, you just watch the leaves change. Does this make sense? Not always the best at explaining
