Grodan Help

I have heard of many different ways to presoak your rockwool...from what I hear is if using grodan rockwool you only need to presoak for 30 minutes unlike 24hrs for other brands......is this true??.....PH of 4.5......5.0.....5.5..??????....with nutes or without????

I am using the 1.5" cubes to make some clones...plan on using rooting hormone powder.....and I have propogation trays...1 with holes 2 without....and a humidity dome.....with a hydrofarm heat mat.

any help on properly preparing grodan rockwool for clones would be great.

i soak mine at ph. 5.5 sometimes when i clone & sometimes a little before i clone & cant tell the difference. i prefer the root-riot plugs to rockwool for cloning though, but rockwool works too just my preference for cloning the rest of the grow is done with rockwool blocks & slabs all ph'd at 5.5 for the first feeding & 5.8-6.2 thereafter

yeah....some one recommended botanicare pluggs?????IDK?????Ill stick with what I have for now.....First Time Cloner here....I tried it on an autoflower once(I know you cant really clone an auto) just to see if I could get some roots and once I figured out to throw em on the heat mat they rooted right up....I was trimming up lower branches on the BLZ BUD for flower anyway so if nothing roots I really dont care....just experimenting!!!!!

i wet them down and put cuttings right in with no soak time. i used a little bit of great white mixed with water and squirted it at the base of the cutting. set them in a tray with a 1/2" of water and a bubble bar and humidity dome spray them daily usually have roots popping out in 7 to 12 days just did a batch of greenhouse white rhino with 100% success in 9 days
