We DO have skunks here, but I will get some kind of filter. If I'm going all out, may as well get some more power sockets in the closet and cut a hole in the ceiling to the attic and vent there through a filter maybe? It's a 6x4 feet (1.8288x1.2192 Meters) Walk-in closet, currently have a heavy duty extension cord run into it, and I really don't like that anyway. What do you folks think, vent into another room or attic? And has anyone dealt with MJSeedsCanada? Very few reviews, so I took a chance on them as the big banks seem to be having issues with customs coming across the pond.
If you're growing in a closet, or small room, vent into another room or through the ceiling into the attic.
Filter stays in the grow room, attached to fan (either directly OR with a length of ducting).
The power of the fan is reduced by every cm of ducting (so use as little as possible) and seriously reduced by any bends/curves in the ducting.

The fan can simply blow out extracted air
OR connect to ducting to direct the flow of the expelled air.

I have a 6"Rhno and a 8"Phresh as my everyday use filters
plus a 6" a 8" Fantronix as emergency spares
(they were about $45 each for brand new models and they will work as effectively as the more expensive models
but only last for 6 to 9 months, rather than the 12 to 24 months of the dearer ones).

AVOID USED FILTERS and LAMPS
unless you know there history and you are sure they have had GENUINELY LOW USAGE.

Often sellers will dishonestly claim that a filter has only had 3 weeks usage
but the truth could be a much longer period of use has taken the filter to near the end of its useful life.

Well I've been looking at some things and need some opinions. My closet is 6lx4wx8h with 2 exposed walls (coming out into the room L shaped). The door is in the middle of the 6' wall and prevents me from getting a good sized tent inside with room for access. As stated I'm only planning on using about half of the closet for 3 plants, but the door in the middle kinda messes things up. Thinking about putting a 6x10 inch vent in the bottom of the 4' wall for passive intake (this will be behind the side where my plants will be) and the fan/filter in the opposite corner of the 6' wall at the top. Intake and exhaust would both be coming from the bedroom. Does this sound good. Or if I just get small 3x3x6 tent,(reducing my grow area further) keep everything internal inside the tent, would the available air inside the closet be enough to not have to cut any vents into the walls? I don't want to vent into the attic, my ceilings have that popcorn stuff on them and would be hard to repair if I moved. Two vents on one closet I might be able to explain away saying it's vents for my snake habitat, and wouldn't look that bad if I moved. I own the house, but don't want to do any major damage. Thanks for your input and suggestions.
