Yeah i just wish he would clarify if the female he uses is from a pack of seeds of said strain or the clone he was given by someone else.like Skywalker OG.did he use the cut or did he get a couple packs and select a mom that best represented.
Some of the descriptions he post say specifically it was the clone but wondering about the other ones that dont.

Anyone can Jack your genetics or anyone else's for that matter. Because no one really owns it to begin with. It's every breeders job to help the plant along and get it growing in as many places as possible, without weakening the plant, but refining it's strengths.
No one owns shit in this business!
I could easily take your hard work and rename it and no one would be the wiser.
So just because you have the key to unlock the females doesn't mean that same key can't be bought with ease.
Here's my key to steal your shit (if I wanted too)
Just like Gu stole a great male from JJ's work, he could have also S1'd or just outcrossed some stellar "Stardawg" female to all of his elites and he might even have sold more units.

Yeah but for the average pollen chucker this is a little out of there reach.alot of these pollen chucks come from saving males.its what greenhouse did with super lemon haze.went to fems to keep the chuckers from handing out f1s from there work.i know the game.your never gonna keep that from happening but to the average tent grower wanting to make seeds from males ain't gonna happen.You and just about every other person on this forum wants to be a breeder.

I can get a big enough collection of GP gear,rare dank,archive,and a few others to find some qualified breeding stock for fems.
That's why i said when this state comes around ill have a big enough facility to pheno hunt out of several hundred seeds.

I also heard gu didn' steal the male from jj.it was a dispensary that found it and gave it to gu.thats what I read on another forum.gu never publicly said if it was true or not.

Gu's not a breeder but more of a matchmaker (for lack of a nicer word than chucker).Sounds like some of the strains GU crosss aren't "true-breeding".
Maybe that's how they end up on the discontinued list???
Again, not complaining but my pack of chinook haze has some serious variation -- and it's on the discontinued list...

He produces fire and I've spent close to $2000 on his genetics, but he doesn't work his lines, from what I know, so his f1 crosses will show varying degrees of hybridized homogeny.
Btw, did you guys know that the Stardawg stud that Greenpoint uses is a Stardawg Bx2 or Stardawg IX - at least according to Seedfinder, who has been known to be wrong.

Yeah he doesn't keep his males which makes no sense to me why he would keep changing the male.i think gu really hit a nerve with that guy.
It' good for us though but you will see another good breeder come out of the wood works with alot of gu's gear.
Space genetix already did with the polar bear monster cookies crosses.they bought up a shit load of those seeds and started breeding lol.

I would be pissed off more if I gave someone a cut and they started breeding with it if it was a cut that I used.i wonder if the male gu has was a cut of a male that was given to a dispensary and than they gave the male cut to gu.guess we will never know.

So I hear males are extremely hard to keep for the long term. Some will just start to flower on you like an auto with the slightest stress or just weaken and die after a few years.
The first thing I would do after finding a suitable male is to take cuttings and spray gibberellins so you can S1 that stud, then back cross and sequentially line breed his progeny until you had an unlimited stock of seeds that resembled the vader.
