Greenhouse vs Raised Bed vs Large Hole

Well the plant that went in the ground on 420 is doing great. This gurl should yield me a nice amount of personal smoke. Now her sister is twice her size definitely two different pheno's for sure. I will have to clone all of these plants for a winter greenhouse grow. The plant I'm talking about is the Og/blueberry my own breeding. The taller gurl looks like the one plant that everyone talks about. Will be giving a few select clones off her to preserve. Happy growing on a sidenote the pole beans have come out the ground. dirrtyd

Well the gurls are looking good will start hardeing them off and putting the supersoil in the holes in the next week. that way it will give it a little time to spread the love i smell coming out of the bins after cooking for a month. I will topdress with various ingredients throughout this grow. Want to see if you can push organics with fast and slow release topdressing. Some of the ingredients would be alfalfa, kelp, crab, meal and fishbonemeal. Keep em Green dirrtyd

wheezer, nice work last season...Be nice to see what you can do when you have all your growing time devoted to 6 babies instead of 40...lol...

sounds nice dirrtyd, I would like to top dress with some of those items, except I'm not going to kill the ramily of raccoons that lives near me, so I guess I'll have to stick with water soluable or liquid organics...starting to fill the smartpots over here, only 6 cu. feet per #45 pot...lol

Legally I can do 12 so I want to stay at about 10 or 11 good plants. If my daughter or other son get there scripts its a different ballgame. Have several from seed this year so it should be fun. I just want to do a lemon kush, and one bluedream, I already have a 2GC,1Purple diesel, 2 Og/blueberry from seed, 2 milf from seed, 2jtr from seed. Been digging and throwing away rocks today almost done two holes are prepped and ready for transplants soon. dirrtyd

Well two more holes have been prepped supersoil will go in all holes this weekend. I have kept with my plan pouring five gallons of water in each hole once dug out. I let it drain then refill with soil from hole then supersoil soil from hole and then potting soil. By the time the roots reach the supersoil the plants should be going crazy. Once we transplant next week a rooting powder will be used on the roots to enchance root growth. Keepem Green dirrtyd

Hmm...I never thought of using rooting powder for a transplant. Do you just sprinkle a little in the new hole before you transplant or do you actually treat the roots somehow?

meta, I sprinkle some in the hole and on the roots. I also use some myco's at transplant I find it helps the roots grow huge. This time next week alot of the gurls will be in the ground for sure. keepem green dirrtyd

You need to elaborate more about this "Rooting powder" you use when transplanting. What rooting power? Green light rooting power? Vitamin B? What is it?
I heard of using vitamin B when transplanting, but not a "rooting power" like your talking about. Tell me more brother-man!
With the temps expected to reach the 80's for most of this week coming up, my girls are going outdoors tomorrow for good. No more "out in the morning, in at night" routine, just going to set up my 2-100 watt Sun Systems lamps above the girls and have them come on at 5:30am for an hour or two, and in the evening for an hour or two going off at 8:30pm. This way they stay on their 15/9 light schedule they're on now.
Side note.....News agencies are reporting that U.S. forces have killed Osama Bin Laden! About time, how long can a rat live in a fricken cave?:wall:
They will stay in their pots until after the start of the Waxing Moon (May 4th). Looking like a busy weekend!
I'm heavily medicated and rambling on, I'll be in touch.

I love when you stop by TMB. What I actually use is a product called ZHO from botinicare big diffference from plants that did not get treated. It is a rhizosphere root innoculant . Last year botinicare sent me a sample pack this year I bought one. Well glad to hear you are ready to go in the ground. I will be going in this week as well. Some of my clones are showing sex meaning shooting pistils so I will have to see. I may want to replace with new clones. Thinking of just putting the ones showing in 7 gallon pots for personal smoke for my grown kids. We will see how this goes going to sprout some more seeds here soon. Keepem green dirrtyd
