Ive seen greenhouses with clouded glass .
do you think flying animals of porkish nature would be able to identify the plants within ? also would would my prize winning tomatos get enough light ;) ?

i use 6ml plastic for my green house. and i have to wear sunglasses to work in there its that bright.
not sure what your talking animals identifing plants..

If a leaf is against the plastic, its shadow is easily recognized from outside.

I think LEOs watch greenhouses, but are wary of assumptions. There are a lot of gardeners in the world.

I use Solexx double walled fabric. As mygirls said, it is awfully bright because of light diffusion.

I've currently got cabbages growing with some girls in my greenhouses.

My last cabbage weighed over ten pounds.

This pic was taken when it was about half way there.

I would agree that 6mil plastic is the right stuff. Good for one season.

The buds in my Avatar were grown under 6mil plastic.

It depends on the glaze.

Greenhouses work best when the light is diffused evenly, throughout the day.

The down side of glass is its expense and fragility.
