I have never used this bulb even for veg. I love it so far it keeps the plants very healthy. Really pumped to flower with it.

As for your previous comment.... we will seeeeee. Joking, I do think organics is better quality for sure. I think for my large room I will always use hydro just for the fact I can crank out more Nugs over a year. This organic stuff I am doing i think I am going to mostly give to friends and family as gifts. I actually don't even smoke its really a shame some people think I'm weird because of it but i really enjoy cultivating as a hobby.

Can never have too many pics, everybody loves bud porn haha. I'm right there with you, this is what I do right now. I love it. We have a mainline that we are throwing in today, we are in the process of getting our perpetual grow off the ground.

Dopeydog: we are in the process of trying to convert to organic. We started composting and plan on making some teas and/or coming up with a soil/compost blend to plant in. Have you found any particular recipe in you adventures that you like to stick to?

I would Post some pics of my last hydro grow but idk my partners might get mad cause its a decent size. I wanna try and get a perpetual going here but i think my next venture will be a 4x8 tent in my bedroom where I'm gonna try coco.

we will learn at the same time then as I just switched to 12/12 three day back with the hortilux blue and have decided to keep using it for flower and see.
we also have somewhat similar grows going for the most part. 600wt in a tent and I thought you said 3gal smart pots? and organic. I should be a week or so behind yourself.

yea maybe the organic statement isn't entirely true but that seems to be the normal progression in a persons search for the best quality, taste and smell. and better resistance to disease and bugs

Im excited, I hear it makes for more density actually. I've also got those uvb lights in there to help with potency. Ive got a 600w in a 2x3 tent which is kinda overkill I guess. I was thinking of adding this 200w LED light I have into the mix as well. I have 2 5gal smart pots and one 3 gal regular pot.

I can deff tell the resistance to bugs is greater and that is due to higher brix levels in soil/organics. Once you have a brix level over 12 or something close to that spider mites can't even eat your plant because the sugars in the plant ferment inside the bodies of the mites turning into alcohol killing the mite. Id really like to try High Brix growing because you get crazy genetic expression but the only problem is that it smells like shit 100% of the time.

As for the smoking, maybe one day I will get back into it when I can handle the paranoia it gives me. Not sure why but every time I smoke I get super stressed out about all the shit and end up thinking way too deeply about life. Blessing and a curse I guess.

Thanks homie! I was thinking about doing a blind study with like 10 samples to see if the people could discern between the two.

Just switched the ladies to flower, plan to feed my transition stage nutes tomorrow. There's a lot of tops on this bad boy so hopefully I can pull some decent weight hopefully around 2 zips a plant maybe more. Id be real happy with 8 zips. Here's the last pic of her with 18/6.

Nice, I have just over 40 tops in my scrog. Im curious to see what I yield in comparison to your 600w. I remember I quit smoking for quite a long time(over a year) because I used to get paranoid, but almost not at all now. I have really been liking taking a toke first thing in the am before work. Overall I just feel less stressed about stuff that happens, I just deal with it and dont fuss about it. Anyways looking good greendyl, btw I am close to harvest, got 1st amber trichs.

Fuck ya man I'm pumped for you to harvest! It will give me a good indication on how mine might go. What %amber are you gonna chop at? I was thinking maybe ill smoke only the stuff I grow.

Not sure when I will harvest since I have 3 different strains im sure they will be ready at different times. I think I will shoot for something like 30amber/60milky/10clear if thats possible, I really dont know though. This will only be my 2nd harvest and I cut the 1st one short by about a week because it was kinda an experiment just to make sure I can get to the end of flower before I dump the money into it.

Update, exactly 7 days into flower. LSD and GD are looking great, the pre 98 got burnt to fuck because I fed too much.
I also added in a 245w flower LED from Htg supply. Total wattage for this tent is at 850 with the reptile bulbs as well.
Overall I would say things are looking good. Kinda wishing I would have not thrown the pre 98 in there so I coulda filled the screen out way more.

Looking good GD, you can still keep filling your screen during early flower. I quit tucking and let them be after 2 weeks of the switch to 12/12.

Idk man I really don't like to fuck with it once I flip. My reason for that is because I feel like you get less weight if you keep tucking it under. The screen is really full except on the way right where the stupid pre98 is.

Sorry guys went on spring break I didn't abandon the journal. Here are some shots from day 14 in flower. As you can see I really lowered the light at around 14 days of flower.

Here is some close up shots taken on day 17 of flower. The LSD is going to be so huge I swear it's so stacked up. Pissed I didn't get a cut off it. Fastest growing and probably the heaviest yielding plant I'll have. Anyways...

Hey greendyl, I never spotted the led light in there until just now, what brand light is it? I am so tempted to buy 2 of the area51 leds or attempt to build one of the diy following some of the guys on here. Btw, I harvested two of my plants and the sativa dom finished early and only yielded just under 2oz its still curing but is down below 60% rh and the cotton candy is drying still but estimating by the wet weight, should lose 75% of its weight in water I will have just over 3oz from that and the 3rd plants buds are huge and still shooting white hairs, its at about day 70 of flower and will be getting chopped this weekend.

It's from Htg supply they make it themselves it's 240 watts. Idk how I feel about it the plant on that side has the biggest nugs for sure but I'm sure that's genetics. I've heard great things about the area 51s. That's good to hear about your harvest though I'll check in on your journal later tonight for sure. I'm thinking I'll pull around 6-7 ounces out of this run. I could deff get more if I used this LSD strain again and did two plants scrogged or maybe 3 again. Putting an indica in the scrog was stupid. That's tight to hear about that last plant just chugging along haha

Eh theres not too much new on the journal, I have been busyier than hell with work and the rest of my time has been spent doing work in the garden and not posting pics. I am kind of waiting to finish this last plant and then I think im done with the online journaling, takes more time than I have now that winters about done with.
