Here's the deal, I'm a newb, have grown in dwc a couple of times, made a new system this time but my dumbass used a light green clear tub/lid, I know I suck at life, totally didn't think about the fact were exposing the roots to light all the time oops. Anyway, we couldn't figure out what was going on, why our plants looked kind of sick but I'm thinking the too much light is definitely the problem. We've only had these clones for a little over a week so hopefully we can fix them. I've also noticed that a couple of the roots look greenish. I know this may be algae or something bad! We just made a new black/grey system and put them in there so hopefully it helps. My question is, does anyone know if there is anything we are supposed to do to fix this? maybe something we are supposed to do to the roots to help them out at all? Any kind of magic solution lol Have no experience in this department so any advice would help. Thanks!! =)

maybe some h2o2 (hydrogen peroxide).

def change out to a dark lid....at least you will not have this problem again..lesson learned

btw i just had my first root rot issue on a plant i spent 3 months nurturing but it happens and it is all part of getting better at growing.

..... Put layers of trashbags or paint the outside black.... It's not that bad, use the hydrogen peroxide and then think of how to fix, even though we already helped you. Good luck have fun.
