It's auto, keep those lights on 24/7. Your plants are on limited time as it is, shortening the light cycle will only hurt your yield.

I was hanging out at the seed bank in my city today, and we were talking about auto flowering strains. I asked essentially the same question and they told me that you can actually just leave the lights on 24/7, but they also made it a point to mention that a lot fo growers are shutting the lights off for 3-5 hours during the night to let them "rest". Personally, I don't have a strong opinion on it, just passing the good word your way. Good luck.

you can run 24/7, but some night period is good for the plants, some say the plant benefits more from 6 or 4 hours of rest then it will with the lights on all the time.

id run 18/6 or 20/4 for autos, some night is a good thing imo

since mj doesn't need a photo period, i was under the impression that a true autoflower was best grown with 24 hours of light.

if hes gunna do 20/4 he shouldnt wait, i think a dark period is good so when it flowers it will already have a dark period it will produce better but the best think to do is ask the breeder whats best 4 that specific plant,

I personally start an auto with a 20/4 schedule right away till the end. I think that a bit of darkness has many advantages, the room gets to cool off from the light heat, pay less for electricity, plants get some rest (sun doesnt shine 24/7 either), you water less frequently because during the darkness transpiration slows down etc.
