If you need to work on the ladies at night, use a green party bulb, or a green LED light, it will not interrupt your plants photoperiod. I've used one for several cycles now and have seen no ill effects.
Some grow stores sell the ones you can hook to your ear kind of like a blue tooth. It's cool to just chill out with the girls and relax.
