There's a guy on youtube who completely strips his plants back to what looks like twigs at around day 18, but they always bounce back like you wouldn't believe. Some strains really don't like it though and you could cause a hermie issue if you do it to the wrong strain so I'm not saying you should do that I'm just saying what's possible... I'd imagine any strain could handle 5-10% leaves taken at any one time though. Even 5% a day for a week would be fine I reckon.
Your plants look fine though and like Tex said they really just need a bit of a pluck in the middle and down low where the light is too filtered and weak. That's all I'd do.
I don't like counting chickens before they hatch but I can easily see 2 ounces coming off each of those plants if all goes to plan, maybe even 3.
Either way I look forward to see how the rest of the grow goes for you, looks like you know what you're up to for sure.
So I did a little research and I will be putting this technique to use on day 21 of flower which is Wednesday I will keep you guys posted with pictures when I am done thanks for the info...

Thanks I may or may not do defoliation I am on the fence about it... maybe a little here and there but nothing to drastic at this point...

Oh I thought you decided to go all out on them, thought that was a bit bold lol... Yeah I definitely recommend just going easy on them.

Unless you are doing scrog or sog, defoliation doesnt help a whole lot.
I agree, and a hard defoliation must be done in conjunction with other factors like having a very strong light source and over vegging your plants in a way that the canopy would be too deep and too crowded without the defoliation.
There's no point taking a bunch of nice healthy leaves off that were getting full light just so you can light up the floor.
My understanding is that the point of any defoliation is to expose bud sites.

Nice to see more growing GC. I've been loving my clone only Green Crack. I just started clones for round 5 a couple weeks ago. I like to harvest them around day 70 or so. Here's a few pics. And I definitely think you could get a pound off those. They look nice. This one gave my 1/2 lb.

Round 3 a week or so before harvest.

Round 4 before flip (13 days ago).

I’m doing s purple crack at the moment ... the green seem to have a pale buds with orange hairs. I’d go lighter on the nutes looks s tad over but good nonetheless. General rule of thumb plants stretch to hell the first to weeks in flower then taper off by third

Update: Day 21 of flowering girls are still happy and healthy...I did a minor defoliation after the pictures were taken mostly just big palms that I could see that were obviously shading bud sites...I think I am going to add a 600watt mh just hang it with no shade on it down into the center of the 4 plants can't hurt right? Lol and also add another fan..here is some pics of the girls this morning not much has changed it's only been 4 days but I do see some growth for sure..

Wow mate I think you're in for your pound after all. especially if you expose those lower buds a bit more..
Adding the MH sounds like the go, if you had it hanging real close to the end of the hps hood and put the whole thing on a light mover going towards the tarp wall end you could bring 2 plants back this way a bit and spread the canopy out even more to make a nice big valley down the middle.. Man you could really pull some serious weight there...

My only concern is the heat issue with adding another light my room runs 22-23 with the light on rh is about 40%...I guess I could take the 1000w ballast out of the room now and keep the 600w ballast outside the room too and adding the 600w bulb would just make up the difference of removing the 1000w ballast...

Yeah man I'd give that a go for sure, 22 sounds a bit low anyway and if it's still too high with both lights on (over 27-28C), I'd think about just adding a humidifier and a few extra fans which should bring you down a bit while taking you closer to the ideal vpd range...

Also if you had the lights moving the plants won't get as hot because they'd get a 'rest' every time the lights go to the other end. That's how it works in my brain anyway but who knows how faulty that is..
