The guy I get clones from has the best product I've seen. His nugs are terrible though. I was showing him some pics from my grow and he was all fired up.

He tells me to keep them in total darkness for two days before harvest. "I have researched it extensively" he says.

I know what they scientists say. But I still think that falls under Bullsh*t.
yep, me too...........saw a post where a guy said he followed that advice and almost killed his grow..not a chance I'm willing to take, I have no complaints with a simple 6hr adjustment on the timers!! :joint:

oops, didn't realize you said at HARVEST............never heard of it, the dark stress I was speaking of was sopposed to be done at trigger to bloom.......

One thing that does make sense to me that I have not tried is running your lights at about 13 or 14 hours of On time during your last few weeks before harvest.

One thing a lot of indoor guys never do is follow an outdoor grow. They don't realize that plants outdoors start flowering long before the light cycle is anywhere near 12/12. I don't think they finish at 12/12 either.

Maybe there is a tad of growth to be had in those final weeks with 13 or 14 hours of light.

an interesting point...........and I agree, the bloom cycle outdoors DOES in fact begin before the 12/12 photo period begins, and actually finishes before it (it being the equinox 12/21) as well,................hmmm never quite thought about that!

;-)

I heard a dude at a seed company bring that up.

it would be interesting to find out the min/max lights-on time possible for flowering.
Say, start a batch under 24hrs light for a month and switch straight to 13on/11off....................then 14on/10off in another batch...........so-on till they no longer make the switch. Any thoughts?

I personally can't be very flexible with my photo period, as I am perpetual. Using the same room and lamps for plants in several stages of bloom.

:joint:looks like we got off subject Dubs.........didn't mean to jack the thread bro. I'm digging that grow dude, Ive got 10 green crack seeds I was given when I started my grow. I'm going to sprout them after I've bloomed out enough of my widows to make room for a 50/50 split! :joint:

....no, and not 100% sure that what I have are the real thing.
I adopted my grow as clones from a broken home....... and it is in-fact White Widow, but my buddy the seeds came from, is in-fact a bullshit-artist as well!!
I've never seen or tried G.C. before, so I don't have anything to compare it to, so I'm left to taking his word for it.
Anyway, I'll see how they roll, and keep my known genetics going. :joint: S.L.

Green Crack is clone only from what I understand. WW is a good strain. It's certainly nothing new but it's a good strain.

...agreed, the widow is great IMO, however it is the only high grade strain I've ever had access to. As far as the G.C. goes........well, like I said the seed came from a questionable source so I will certainly maintain the W.W. genetics as I am too noid to order seed through the mail..........

Is it just me or did they slow down a bit the last ten days. As usual I like to put up some previous pics in order to compare them to the current ones. I think this is not going to be an 8 week strain but more of a 10 weeks strain. Maturation seems to have slowed down a bit. I see other DP WW's and they are much further along at 5 weeks of flower. Must be the mom I got the cuttings off of.

Patience... :wall:

I really cooked my plants. I think I added way to much Barricade to Ph up. 200ppm of my 900ppm mix was from Barricade :o I flushed for the last day and a half with RO water and now I'm at 800ppm +/- with no Barricade. In fact I think I can feed more. My ppm is dropping after each watering/feeding. This tells me they're taking up more nutes than I'm providing. I'll give it a day or two to decide.

On to the photos.

12/21 "walk through the door shot"

12/30 "walk through the door shot" FYI-There has been much talk lately about 1000w vs 600's. It's pretty clear from these shots I'm better off having my 1000w's up higher for better coverage. I I was looking at some Oaksterdam Veg Room shots of their mothers. They have 1000w's 6ft over the canopy.

12/21

12/30 This photo is different primarliy because things are starting to hang differently. I'm glad I put the netting up. There is no doubt I would have a mess on my hands right now if I didn't. Look at how much tighter it has gotten in 9 days. Ok, maybe I'm answering my own question here. They are still growing. I thought I would have denser cola's by now though.

I would love 1/2oz cola for sure. This is a pretty thin stemmed plant so I think those cola's wouldn't have too much wood in them. They're topped so I guess they'll produce less than the average main.

I have ten plants. I should be running 12 but I couldn't get the two other clones.

I guess I'm just being a picky grower. Things start looking the same from day to day. When I look at them on here I see the difference but I was convinced they had stopped growing.
