Seems to me that some post offices/processing centers are more affected than others. A few months ago mail was moving extremely slow into that area, but other people reported no issues. Also, by my understanding there was a recent post office policy change re packages, that employees should no longer make special trips to ensure package mail gets delivered on time (this includes situations where they have too much mail to deliver, they'll leave packages behind to deliver another day). Just as an example, we were waiting for a package recently that sat at a processing center in a neighboring state for over a week. Finally made it through in the last two days.
