Grass-o-matic AK47 x LOWRYDER Grow Journal

I am going to be doing a soil grow with SubCool's Super Soil so this will be a new strain for me. I just finished a DWC White Widow but wasn't very happy with the yield. Right now I have Low Ryder #1 that are about 33 days old from seed and are doing pretty good. They are in Perlite / Vermiculite 3 Gal buckets under 1000w Hps. Feeding them General Hydroponics Grow / Bloom. I'm only telling you this because you will see them in the pics so now you know what they are.
Now for the Grass-O-Matics

I will start them in perlite / vermiculite until they break the surface then transfer them to soil in 1 gallon pots for the first 30 days. That will give my Super Soil time to sit and will be ready just in time for the transplant into the new soil just before they flower. I think if I am really careful and not disturb the roots when I remove them they shouldn't get stressed. We'll see

Flowering: automatic within 3 weeks
Harvest: within 70-75 days from seedling
Yield: 20 – 50 gr./plant
Pot: 5-12 Lt.
Characteristics: intense aroma INDOOR/OUTDOOR
Feminized version of the new (100% auto-flowering) hybrid made by crossing the AK47 with the Lowryder, and ulteriorly selected for Grass-o-Matic. A happy combination between the rinomate virtues of the AK47 -one of the most rewarded plants - and the extremele easy and fast maturation of the Lowryder. The greatest and most powerful plant “100% automatic” available today, suitable also for therapeutical uses. With its 50-60 cm of average height, it finds place practically anywhere. After a first phase of growth of approximately 2-3 weeks, the plant quickly goes to flowering stage developing great compact buds covered from a diamond veil of resin and with a sweet and very intense aroma. Automatic AK47 flowers within 70-75 days from seed, reaching its optimal size if given enough light. The ideal light cycle is in fact of 20 hours of light and 4 of darkness during the entire life of the plant. Outdoors the best time is May-August, but it is possible to do multiple cycles up to November.

These are the Low Ryders @ 33 days under 1000w HPS. I will post pics after I put the seeds in the trays tomorrow.

Started the seeds today 10 Grass-O-Matic and 5 freebe short stuff. I also mixed up a batch of Subcool's Super Soil and it will be ready just about the time the plants go into flower.

Well this is the first full day of germination and nothing to report.
It's like waiting for paint to dri. We did save a male from the Low Ryders and have pollinated one of the females to have some seeds so we'll see how that goes as well.

things went south for a few days, my plants are in recovery.
i had BLACK spider mites, the most ferocious of the red, black spotted, and the white mites.
i tried neem oil as a stand alone, it kicked them back a bit, then i tried neem oil and dawn blue dish soap, one drop per gallon, that kicked them back a bit too.
after ever "treatment" i used the good old shower head to wash off any residuals and any dead mites or weakened mites.
this HELPED ALOT!
then i came back with the most infected few and hit them with a super whammy.
neem oil, malathion [1/2 tea spoon (maybe less)], alcohol, and dawn blue to a gallon, rinsed the plants all the same.
then i flushed the "hempy buckets" and the single soil plant out cuz idk what alcohol does, dawn does, neem oil does, and malathion does to the soil.
U.S. department of ag says that malathion is save to use after seven days of application.
i like the shower to water my plants, it gives them a nice rain simulation, and covers a very large area quickly, or is this a bad tecnique?

Ok I have the spider mite's under control and have taken a few pics of the Ladies. The first pics are 30 days old and all of the seeds but 1 came up. I started 10 Grass o Matics and 5 Mi5 freebies... all the Mi5's came up.

These are pics from today and we have Grass O Matic and Mi5's in the first pics and the rest are of Low ryder 1's , auto Widow, Afgain cush special and a White Widdow clone.

The Grass O Matics and the Mi5's showed their sex in about 17 to 20 days. they were started on 7/18 so they are alittle over a month old and have already got a pretty good mass of buds. We are using Subcools super soil and they love it. We also added it to all the plants just on top and watered thru it and every plant responded great and took on more mass.
I will try and get a few pics in a day or so.
We also got 165 seeds from our LowRyder 1 we pollinated.

Wellsorry I haven't posted more pics but I have been super busy at work and am beat when I get home but here they are after about 52 days and the MI-5's are about ready to harvest in 8 days or so. The Grass-O-Matics will need about 10 to 20 more days but the are starting to look white and are covered with THC and the buds are huge.
Sub's Super Soil is the shit and these strains love it as you can tell.

BTW is anyone watching this grow?
