Grape Stomper OG

Noticed a tonne of fungus on top of my soil I never seen without looking directly down at the pots.

Did the insecticidal soap drench mixed with a bit of Cinnamon. Then I top dressed the top of all my pots and solo cups with cinnamon, it smells wonderful in here.

I didn't see much crawling around on top of the soil after I drenched it good. So my fingers are crossed I also sprayed down the main stalk on all my plants withe soap mixture. Hopefully it was just a beastie munching on some fungus, because that's a super easy fix. I've dealt with that before.

Was very hard to see the fungus under the HID I went in about 15 minutes early with a flashlight and it was on top of all my pots soil. I'm going to inspect a lot in the next week or so, if I don't see em coming back I am going to cancel my order.

I really want to try that SNS 209, I may still get that one. Seems like a good product if it works.

dam that looks like a herm to me dam man i was gona grab a pack.. i guess you gota hunt them out..

just make sure you spray every 3 days or so to make sure you get eggs larva and mature ones. Would suck to get rid of them and 3 days later eggs hatch..

i couldnt stop spraying the shit when i made it! walked around the house looking for spiders n other fuckers. cinnamon is an anti fungal if i remember correctly.

Order some Trichoderma. It is a mycovorous fungi that does all the stuff mycorrhiza does. Also discourages sucking and biting insects by producing chitinase as a natural by product. Chitinase destroys chitin which means bugs jaws get eaten off and they can't feed any more. It is really cheap stuff too. All your nasty molds get eaten no hassle.

Careful with both. Not that good on bugs really, and especially rosemary can stain leaves. Lavender can cause phytotoxicity really easily and taints the trichs with its smell eww. Mint, Tulsi Basil etc are strong biodisruptors but don't bother with them in anything but a well sustained and managed IPM. The habanero however, gods, it is quite hardcore. No hassle killing bugs. But i damn near died myself. Full protection gear when working with what amounts to be pepper gas if you use a good sprayer. I got some mist drift into my ear mate... OW. And a nice rash on my neck too. I was using respirator, protective goggles, gloves, long full sleeves, hoodie the works. Only a bit of my ears and neck exposed and i regretted it. At least not as bad as the first time, but it was the last time I use Capsicum holy balls...

Going to grab some Rosemary Oil and Citrus Oil tonight, going to combine that with a good garlic hot pepper cinnamon spray and spray everything before lights out.

It really looks like they have been knocked down already. They don't seem to want much to do with the soil surface anymore, noticing a few of them around the rim of the pot but very very few on the plants or soil surface. Going to reapply a soap drench again in 3 days and spray with the Rosemary oil mixture a couple times before my flowers get much bigger. Already kind of concerned spraying my Bodhi strains as they are getting to be pretty far along(4 weeks ish). Going to do the ol' spray and shake off the excess with them. I'd much rather spray them with a food based mix then this insect soap, so I just spray the main stalk last night and left the buds alone.

Yesterday I seen about 50 on the tops of my grape stompers soil, today I seen maybe 2-3 on the soil surface and around the pot rim.

I bought this "organic" horticulture oil, got home and did some reading on it, I was thinking it was neem given a different name so they could sell it here..... long story short it's a petroleum product spray that's apparently so poisonous if you get it on your skin you're supposed to wash for 10-15 minutes it's going back and the store is going to get asked how a petroleum based spray is organic. Maybe my personal definition of organics is wrong, but I don't think a heavily refined product that's so poisonous is a safe home organic solution. says on the label it can cause pneumonia and it's a supposed to be sprayed on, but you're not supposed to get any on you.... seems really fucking dangerous for an "organic" product. I guess Organic doesn't necessarily mean "safe".

I see none on my leaves even using a 60x scope, and only seen 1 on the plant yesterday none today. I took the GSOG's out and sprayed them thoroughly, like I said I will be repeating this until I am sure they are gone. They were the most heavily effected, probably because they are just starting to stretch out a bit with lots of new leaves for the buggers to munch on.

My idiot dog keeps walking into a heavily invested bush's another possibly entry.

Thinking I'm going to be adding Rosemary to my soil mix, if it does what the SNS folks say it does, getting into the plant and turning off bugs when they bite into the plant, it seems like a really good preventative step to take. Heck maybe I'll grab a little spice garden tray dealie, lots of these things can be used for bug control and taste delicious found a whole list on Wikipedia.

What about some BTi in the soil mix? I would be careful with my micro herd there, any studies on what rosemary does to your microbes? If I were you I would find one first. If you have a solid micro herd including BTi and chitinase producing fungi, soil bugs stand little chance...Sounds like you are kicking ass anyway if numbers are that much reduced. Good job there Sir!

Just canceled my order, thanks for that list. Didn't have the 217/c in my list of stuff and if nothing else works on thrips I might as well not even bother with the order.

Seems the 217 is rosemary oil based too, I might as well just buy some rosemary oil and mix it with this insecticidal soap concentrate and re-treat with that. Should cost me about $25 instead of $150.

Also grabbing a jug of concentrated BT liquid. Don't know if we have the dunks here but I'll look for them too. Almost bought the BT stuff last night but thought it was only for caterpillars, that's what it says on the bottle as the main focus, but apparently it's great for all sorts of stuff.

Figured that's why I would post it so you could make a decision with all the info you could gather...they sell the same kit I bought for free u just pay shipping...its under the sample tab on sns web page..

you may need more then myself though as I just do a 1 600w personal setup

bti is good for a few things. i knocked fungus gnats the fuck out.

I shot them an email to see if they will ship to Canada This damn border man, makes everything so difficult. Might head to the dreaded hydro store and see what the nice lady has to say about organic solutions in Canada. They don't even carry that much for organics. Makes me a sad panda.
