Grand Daddy Purp Organic or Chemical Grow???

Whats going on everybody. Finally finish moving from North Carolina to South Carolina so I have nothing I'm starting from scratch. My buddy said he would give me some of his Kens Grand daddy purp and candyland clones. He has been growing them with Fox farm Grow big chemical nutes in half gallon bags. I was planing on putting them in 3 Gallon grow bags and veg for 4 days then flower after because they are already about 13inches he said. Should I continue giving it chemical nutes cause i have some old Sensi A&B and Big bud, and Bud candy or should i give it bottom half of 3G pot Guano High N, Guano High P, Azomite, Dolomite lime, Epsom Salt, Kelp Meal, and Potassium Sulfate. With some Compost Tea here and there like one beginning of flower one in the middle of flower and one heavy one at the last 3week mark.. He says he is giving me a GDP Purple Pheno and a Bright green frost smelly pheno both strong. So which would benefit better?

Chems are good and generally less work and cheaper thant teas. Get some dyna gro grow and bloom and youll be good to go for about 30-40 bucks.

It doesnt matter which you use just use the right amount. If youre just trying to to get one off real quick use what you got on hand.

Organics are just fun for me to do, however, I consider it more of microbe farming than plant farming because you constantly have to make sure the microbes are able to break down the insoluble organics fast enough for your plant not to become deficient. Keeping your root zone's temperature, ph, and available oxygen in the correct zones is essential to getting huge yields with organics. If I were you I would perhaps do a couple organic and the rest with a complete mineral based nutrient line that way if your organics don't turn out as well as you hoped you have something to fall back on. With organics people usually run into deficiencies with mineral based nutrients people usually have nitrogen burns or lockouts.

I asked because the last about 7 grows i have done have been all organic and I ran two little mini GDP clones in 2litter bottles with Chem my last grow with my organic grow and everything was nice. Buds were way bigger and I know the do's n donts with chem grow now. So i fill like i can get more out of my ladies with chem. Don't get me wrong I love organic but only diff I can tel between the two is taste and to be honest I'm not that big on taste and I also feel I'm not getting the most out of my buds weight wise.. I feel like I can push my ladies to the edge running chem nutes. With organic I always started getting deficiencies to early even when i supply tea and food in the right amount.

I did bottled at first and switched to organics, not bottled organics obviously, but I've never looked back. Buds have shown for themselves just overall better quality.

Thats what I did. I converted to organic because when I first started I burned the sh#t out of everything all the time and I didn't know how to ready and lady. But not that I know what it needs and been trying it along with my organic grows I gotta understanding to it. Super easy and as long as you flush for two weeks buds are just as good as organic except for flavor and smell. I had to understand ppm and adding little by little each week. I am in NO way knocking organics I love it. Great all the way around.

I never flush, feed once a week, top dress maybe twice throughout veg and flower, and I mix my own soil. And if you can get living soil down. Once you have a microbe colony going you need to feed less and less often. I love organics and knowing what's going into my plants. I'm so glad I got to experience both and got to choose the better of each.

The only thing that bugs me about organics is my leaves are always all yellow by 4th going into the 5th week even if i add High n Guano to my tea. Any tip on how to prevent this.

EXACTLY! Run a couple EACH way and decide for yourself whats better!!!!!!!!!!!

Use 1-2 tbl of Fish Emulsion once to twice a week. I've been struggling with that too but just getting it down. I never use high N guano in my flower teas.

I meant I give High N Guano on the first tea. But i was doing teas every other watering in flower. But that was because I for got to mix everything in the soil before hand and I didn't top dress. I was just doing a all Tea Feed in SS#4 but I soon realize that not the best thing to do. Now I'm wondering should i mix everything before I transplant for flower and then just give it 3 teas. 1st one on the 2nd watering after flower transplant. 2nd tea at the half mark of flower. Last tea at the 2 weeks before harvest mark.

I quit doing nute teas and went to periodical "dry" feeding, judged by the look of the plant and doing weekly AACT tea applications......Experiment....teas vs. dry......you can make both work without problems in time. Take notes, write down what you did - what you are going to change and why.....refer back to the note's.

Organic IS fun!
