Grafting seedling onto mature roots.

I've been reading about the methods of grafting. All I could come up with searching was grafting strains with other strains. Couldn't find much about taking a seedling or clone from a mother and graft it to a recently harvested plant. Would the plant still be in flower mode? Would the harvest stress the root system and cause a failed graft? Has anyone ever attempted this? Seems like a cool experiment.

If you did pull it off and the plant did not suffer enough stress to kill it or bacteria didn't kill it you should be fine putting it into veg state. Just leave it in 24hour light until you start to see new leaf growth and not calyx production. It will take weeks for this to happen because the plant has to heal itself then it can begin the new leaf growth. Good luck!
