christie is a walking timebomb coronary case.
in my opinion a man who cannot excercise discipline between his plate and his face cannot be trusted with a state economy.

Every politician has their faults and stupid moves like the helicopter thing but i really like how he knocked the money grubbing nj teachers union off their pedistol. The teachers union here is really nasty and were in a time were everyone must sacrifice, they were too selfish to take a pay freeze for 5 months. They recieve too many benefits for a public job and more and more new teachers are applying for teaching positions for the benefits not because they want to play their part in society.

I agree with you there that the teaching system is screwed up. Im all for less government and less spending. I just want Christie to actually do it. Helicopter rides costing hundreds of thousands of dollars just make him look like a joke. But in national news... Ron Paul 2012. =D

Well, even if he doesn't get the republican nod since he is not running for re-election to congress this time he will be able to run Independent and will be on the ballots in November.

first: you are a partisan hack for crediting christie for work of the opposing party.

second: you are an excellent representative of the braindead righties in this nation nowadays, doing zero research but nonetheless crediting their party for whatever good happens, while blaming anything bad on the opposing party.

third: perhaps we are not paying teachers enough, as evidenced by your inability to spell 'pedestal'

that is all.

Yes Christie has been holding the program up, but today he said he is pushing it forward as fast as possible and not waiting for the feds to give him an answer on whether or not they will prosecute legal grows in his state. Like I said I dont agree with much he has done, but today he did something good, we'll see where it goes. Ataxia freedomisgreen.org did not work?
Christie didn't do this with compassion. Before he took office he was quoted on ending mmj in NJ. If he's worried about them prosecuting for legal grows they should've changed the law to allow for home culitvation. Isn't that what the DEA memo was about????? that they wouldn't prosecute people that were growing small amounts in their private residences?
I don't know. I don't trust any politicians but Christie is just ..... well he's Christie. A literal fat cat politican.
sorry about the link I visit the site everyday and still get it confused .....
it's freedomisgreen.com.

I hear you.. Christie is just another politician turd. I am just happy to see a MMJ program moving forward in my state. I know it could get better, but were taking steps. I was checking out the site, it looks nice.. thanks for the link.

i just hate the whole mmj thing anyways.. lets get real about it.. why can't i just smoke bud cuz i like to get high like the guy on the corner can drink his 40 0z'er or what have you cuz he likes to get drunk?? not only that, i would never say taht mmj doesn't help people, only a fool would say that, but i think a lot of the people who have a card don't honestly have something wrong with them that they need the mmj card that they have.. and i for one refuse to lie and say i have this or that so that i can get a card..
and not like having a card means shit anyway as we all know it's still very much illegal on the federal levl, and until that changes, i don't care what any state says about mmj one way or another as it don't come down to a pyle of beans..
and once again, why can't we just legalize bud instead of saying its for mmj reasons?? is this a step in the right direction? i guess i'll have to admit that it is, but it still pisses me off that we have to play these silly fucking games and call it medical marijuana? why can't just plain old marijuana be legal and not attach all of these crazy ass restrictions on who is legible, and who has what, and where you can "buy" it from if you have a card, who grows it for you, etc.. and nj's are a joke.. you've got to be pretty much be dying of aids in nj on your death bed before they will give you a card.. they you have to drive to god only know's where, i'd imagine if one were n north jersy, probably some lovely area like downtown patterson, or maybe elizbeth.. or central jersey some lovely parts of trenton possibly.. and for south jersey i'm sure they are going to be sending people into the most lovely parts of camden so they can go score they bud.. and god knows what quality it;s going to be..
of course our state gvt. leaned on the likes of rutgers u whom threw their hats into the ring to grow for the state... when our lovely state gvt caught wind on this, they threatened to withhold state funding for the school which i would think was probably in the millions of the dollars, so rutgurs quickly folded logically..
even some mmj firms that are already established in other mmj states offered to come out to nj and set up a program which is actuall working now in other states, but of course nj said no thanks, and brought in their own people, which i'm sure aren't getting paid extremely well to do so as well..
so yah, if you're happy with this crappy ass bill passing, congrats, but i just feel that marijuana in this country has ages to go.. the thing that pissed me off is that we know have in power a lot of kids that had grown up in the flower power generation and have been around more drugs than the kids today, and yet with all of these people in power now, it seems like things are worse today than when they were kids, and wtf is going on honestly.. it really makes me think that the legalization of marijuana is really all about big money from people like the pharma companies, and probably i'd think the big alcohol compaines out there as well.. these people generate how many billions of dollars a year and how much of that money gets funneled into political campaigns and shit, it just make me sick and really think that with that much money on the table, it's no wonder there is this much of a resistance, and what i really hate about politics as it's all about big money and neither party gives a fuck about the individual person, its a fucking disgrace.. use us and the unrenewable resources of this earth up and only look at the bottom line while doing do..
fuck if shit falls apart in 30 years time, we won't be here anywho's, who cares..
don''t even get me fucking started on oil and gas for cars.. talk about big money killing the planet and sucking us all dry at the gas tanks for fucking greed.. it makes me ill, and i love me cars and auto racing and all, but give me a fucking break and lets move on from gas already.. and don't get me started on these fucking pos hybrid cars that have instead for the hippys.. that's taking a fucking step back, not going forward with technology.. every other form of technology has advanced so far, yet we're still using the combustion engine that was created how many hundred years ago? bullshit i say, lol.. but of course we all know that big oil companies but the squeeze on any uni or college that tries to look into any means of alternative propulsion, idk, it fucking pisses me off..
ok, stoned ass rant over, hope you were able to hang in there through all of that, lol..

Man, I know.... I cant believe i read that whole thing that was long but your right. Thats why I love getting stoned and watching ron paul rants from the floor or different committee meetings on youtube when he is preaching because it makes me feel like wow there is actually someone in this country trying to actually do the right thing for the future. Sadly he is usually the only one in congress on his side. Although it seems since he correctly predicted the market crashing in 2008 he gets alot more respect from the national media. Im gonna get 5 people to register republican and vote in the primary, and tell them to get 5 people. Its not alot, but I am going to try and do something.

In response to your first and second comments i don't see it necessary to spend 15 minutes researching something that doesn't really matter. The important thing is that it was finally passed. I already apoligized for not crediting the opposing party my bad calm the fuck down. And in response to your third, sorry i don't spend 5 minutes spellchecking a post on a website about weed, is it a crime to be high while i'm typing? oh shit wait...but no do you know how much skill it takes to be a k-8 teacher? I could teach it and i am only 18.

i will openly admit that i'm far from being too active politically as i think at the end of the day it doesn't really matter who we vote for as they all suck and i've yet to see one of them make a change for anything better..

they all seem to say what they think the people want to hear to get them into office, then turn around and pay back all of their backers who donated lots and lots of cash to get them into the public eye to begin with, no matter if that goes against whatever lies they told to get them elected to begin with or not.. so i don't know too much about ron paul, but i tend to be just as skeptical about him as i am over every other politician who wants to get into office..

As George Washington once said, "I have already intimated to you the danger of parties in the State, with particular reference to the founding of them on geographical discriminations. Let me now take a more comprehensive view, and warn you in the most solemn manner against the baneful effects of the spirit of party generally.

"It serves always to distract the public councils and enfeeble the public administration. It agitates the community with ill-founded jealousies and false alarms; kindles the animosity of one part against another; foments occasionally riot and insurrection. It opens the door to foreign influence and corruption, which finds a facilitated access to the government itself through the channels of party passion. Thus the policy and the will of one country are subjected to the policy and will of another"

We have currently landed ourselves in a two-party dictatorship. These parties make our votes null and void based on the states in which we live. A vote for a Democrat in Alabama is as meaningless as a vote for a Republican in New York.

Clearly we cannot completely do away with parties--it is now too ingrained, in spit of Washington's prophetic words. But we can complicate things for the Democrats and Republicans. Third and fourth and fifth parties, don't be shy--it's only throwing your vote away because everyone throws their votes away on Democrats and Republicans. If we all stop throwing our votes away, maybe our votes will count for something."

Even though i am a conservative, i agree with what he said and agree that political parties do more harm than good.

you made it matter.

you tried to credit a republican for the work of a democrat with respect to steps towards cannabis re-legalization.

you don't find it necessary to inform yourself before spouting off? allow me the same liberty.

chris christie once ate a puppy....alive. he then smashed a cat with a hammer, fucked a 5 year old boy, and pissed on the declaration of independence.

true story.

The important thing is that it was finally passed. I already apoligized for not crediting the opposing party my bad calm the fuck down.
oh, what? everything i just said about chris christie consuming a puppy, murdering a kitten, defiling a minor, and micturating upon the declaration was false?

oh, my bad.

mark twain said something along the lines of..."a lie makes it halfway around the world before truth puts its shoes on".

And in response to your third, sorry i don't spend 5 minutes spellchecking a post on a website about weed, is it a crime to be high while i'm typing?
so you are trying to blame your lacking education on cannabis?

why don't you do more to defile cannabis. why don't you just say that you murdered a man because cannabis made you crazy? or that cannabis caused you to play the piano faster, faster!

i hope you get that reference.

oh shit wait...but no do you know how much skill it takes to be a k-8 teacher? I could teach it and i am only 18.
do you know how much skill and training it takes to deal with a room full of 30+ kids, AND teach them?

as a snot-nosed little 18 year old brat, i highly doubt you are capable of handling the stress of such a position. i bet you are more apt to mop up semen at the local jerk-o-rama.

i have family that teaches k-8 kids. it ain't easy. and your arrogant assertion is laughable.

that is all.

by the way, learn to spell 'apologize'. perhaps you should attend grade school another time.

We have currently landed ourselves in a two-party dictatorship. These parties make our votes null and void based on the states in which we live.
the presidential election in 2000 was decided by 550 or so votes in florida. we were stuck with bush thanks to 550 dipshits from florida.

and you claim votes do not matter?

if it doesn't matter, stay home. you are the reason why i hate the 26th amendment.

fucking amateur.
