Well, I'll admit that when I got back into growing again, I read up on all the stuff -whether it was bro science or not and I tried most of the "tricks" and I've never detected a noticeable difference among any of the methods. Sometimes people just have the need to dink around trying to find a "secret sauce". If the plants are truly ripe and ready to go, then it won't make a difference either way.
