Got Some Q's Looking For A's

thats where its gonna get tricky. your best bet is to go ahead and start transplanting now. the more you wait the worse the situation gets. think of it like a tree that grows right next to a house. ever seen the roots rip up concrete? those roots will basically make a huge fighting root knot if not taken out. if you transplant be ready to see your plants go into some form of shock. with the lighting not being proper, they are already stressing (hence the stretching). Your plants talk to you if you listen to the signs. those puppies are begging for light and honestly your soil looks like clay. These conditions are going to lead down a bumpy road. All these factors can and will lead to either root rot or just very poor growth/yield.

man dont overthink it, simply, theres no way you're getting anything from them in these cups or under this light. and you need intake exhaust too. going 12/12 now is not the best idea, transplanting into bigger pots now IS, and buying a flowering light and exhaust fan.

well Im growing with my roommates and I suggested it but they're saying to leave the lights where they are throughout the whole process.
majority rules 2-1 on the votes so the lights stay for now.
heres pics, what do you guys think....?

i'd say get em closer. as close as possible w/o burning the plants, and since your using tubes thats probally about 1/2 an inch away or less. i can touch my tubes myself, but i try not to let the plants.

yeah we moved the light down we'll post pics to show everyone the difference once it starts to show

your plants are looking a whole lot better then in the beginning, might I recommend topping off the soil. and actually that t8 from lights of america you have will work fine, maybe get a few more... flouro's may not be as fast as Metal Halides, but they're proven to grow your plants (cfl's are more concentrated versions) For my scrog I felt that the 4' t8's would spread the light out better for my setup

the light has been on a 24/0 cycle for 7 weeks and my plants have plenty of branches

I only use organic ormi V soil w/ worm casings, superthrive, and MG organic bloodmeal.(tiny tiny bit of pearlite)
most of my supplies are available at walmart/ home depot.
check out my grow and let me know if you have any questions

my total monthly bill went up $10 with the 5- 2lamp t-8 fixtures for a total of 320 watts and 27500 lumens for my veg tent.

promotes more growth during the veg cycle, I only do it for part of the cycle, then after 6- 7 weeks I switched to 16/8 to ease into the 12/12 flower cycle.
