Heres the Purple Rain male back to 20/4 the last few weeks. Stuck inbetween flower and veg but looking good. Should have some holiday cuts to share.

Here is the surprise entry to the love 'purple love fest'. Last winter a Soma NYCD accidently got pollenated by a Querkle. Popped a few beans in the spring and put them out on their own in late June. Pulled this one a few weeks ago and stuck in a Homerbucket of compost/recycle soil and revegging it also. Its some tasty bud let me tell you! All by accident but want to keep her around also. Her and the PR male will play this winter. Beans too come.......HPIM3010.jpgHPIM3007.jpgHPIM2986.jpgHPIM2993.jpg

But they are getting better. I let them run short of mg and n late in veg and early transition but I am getting a handle on it. They have had a few seabird and worm turd teas along with some fish emulsion the last couple of waterings. Also top dressed the pot with some dolomite and greensand so they should finish fine. This is still an all organic grow.

First up Isis. Notice the plant on the right still has branches on the low node, they are soon to be pollenated. That way I can finish the top 2 nodes, harvest them and let the lower preggos finish fully.

Next the three Purple Rains. Even with 2 tall and 1 short I still have 3 different phenos. the 2 taller plants do have thier differences. Mainly leaf blade count, 1 mostly 5 per and one mainly 7 per. The 7 per is also showing some nice trichs already.

And the lone Querkle. Not much to report on it, pretty straight forward. It will get a few flowers pollenated with the PR pollen.

Great Thread! Was just wondering at what point do you start seeing the Purple colour come through? Ive got a Chiesel Plant at around 4 weeks 12/12 and just noticed the Purple While removing a dying Fan leave, then once I took a better look I can see it through some of the Green leaves. Bud's are just forming, but i'd love to have some nice Purp's. Thinking it must be coming from the NYCD ???

Hey Green, thanks for stopping by the thread! I gotta let ya in on a little secret. I am color blind like a mo-fo so I have to rely on the other half to monitor colors for me. The one I drowned was purple from the first bud. It was a dark enough shade that I was able to distinguish the purple clearly, but the lighter shades I have to ask. I am sure it has played a part in catching deficiencies early enough but I am learning to distinguish the signs "colors". I have shown the wife pics of what they should look like when they are at the amber we like and she is getting pretty good with the Microscope too.

The purple you are seeing in the leaves could be a genetic thing or the first stages of a deficiency, likely N2. Its what happened to mine anyway. They will also turn a slight shade of purple on the stems and petiole's when the have matured enough to flower.

Keep an eye on em, give em what they need and they will turn out great.

Peace

So we are at day 52 on the first to be ready. The short P/R will probably come down this weekend judging by were the trich's are. Wife figures about 10 to 15 percent and we like it a little further along. She has truly bulked up but had to flush her because she got burned from the last feeding. I knew better than to use the C/E Micro.(6-0-0) Just trying to feed her a little N2 to get her to the end and only used 2ml/gal. Half the recommended dose? Won't do that again for sure. The leggy P/R and the P/K x will probably go another week to 10 days to finish. They took longer getting started flowering because of the stretch, but should fill in nicely.

The Isis and the other P/K x still have 2 to 3 weeks to go with the Isis finishing up first again because of the stretch on the P/K.

The first PK x. About another week to 10 days?

Group Photo from chair level! P/R on left and middle front at day 52, and Isis on left at day 45.

The 2 P/R and 2 Isis at about 3 wks. They will get topped in the next day or so at the 5th node. They will go into flower when my first three ladies come down, about 10 days or so. Give em enough time to recuperate from the topping.

Thanks for stopping in!

I'm guessing the reason for the different colored bands is so you know which is which with regard to how you pollinated them? I've been lurking along here but I'm gonna go back through your thread as I just thought of a couple of questions but they are probably answered on the first couple of pages, lol. Looking good Big!

Finaly, a win to be proud of. 2 and 5 Record. Lets hope they can keep it up.

So its day 56 and my favorite P/R is getting so close. The leggy P/R is filling in as is the P/K x. They still have at least 10 days I would say. Tha Isis and other P/K are day 49 and still blowing up. The Isis is starting to lean so gonna have to tie her up later.

The 4 jouvenal's in veg will be topped shortly at the 5the node just like the last set. Definately 2 different pheno's coming out in the P/R's as you can see in the pic.

The four bagseed doing good. Probably up-can em tomorrow.

Here is the pic's.

Peace

Here's my six. I wet the soil, then soaked the seeds in room temp. tap water for couple hours. All were floating. I planted them about 1/2" deep. Haven't done seeds in a long time. I have them on 20/4 and ambient is about 70.

Thanks Lumi, hows things in the Whodat nation? Its tough being King of the Hill. I dont think fans realize who tough it is being defending champs.

Looking great Big! Bet you cant wait to puff-puff the purp! LOL And way to go Lions! And Rocky what the hell has gotten into the Raiders!?!My Pats look like they may be beginning to gel. Randy may even be back in a week or so ith his tail between his legs.

I have gotten all 6 girls pollenated. Even have a bean popped, the PR male is the father and a Magus Motavation the mommy. The Moto was about a month out when I first began collecting pollen from the PR being such a stud I thought why not? LOL Guess we will see. They are due for a feeding in the next day or so and will update pics then.

Happy Trails..........

So yesterday was day 58 and I decided to bring down the first P/R. She was about a mixture of 40/60 on the trichs and I didn't want to get too amber and have too much of a couch lock. These last couple days she has started to get really fruity and it took me a couple hours to figure out what it was, but I'm telling ya she smells and tastes just like Trix with a hint of spice :weed:. I left the bottom small buds that were pollinated and she will go back into the cab to revege and finish her seeds! I quick dried the 2 smaller buds and all I can say is " Thanks Rocky "! She is an awesome mix of both head and body stone. The smoke is a combo with it being very fruity and finishing with a little spiciness and believe it or not, no green taste. :hump:
I can't wait to get her in the jar and start to cure some. She weighed in at 157gr's wet minus the sample so I will be really happy with 2 oz dry from her.

The other girls are bulking up nicely but a little behind because of the stretch. The Isis that stayed short will probably finish the same time as the other P/R and she is a week behind them in flower.

Took some pics!

Peace

Big
