Got ripped off last night!

Some lowlife slimeball climbed over a 6' wall, went into my utility shed, and took the whole top bucket off one of my waterfarm units. Shittiest plant I had fornunately.
Heard a sound at 2am, thought it was the cats and went back to sleep. 10 minutes later heard the same sound, got up and grabbed a gun, turned on the motion detector light (which I stupidly forgot to turn back on earlier) and waited. Nothing, the horses were already out of the barn.
I'm pissed, at the asshole, but mostly at myself for getting lazy with the security.
Ordered a motion detector alarm this morning. Now I need a waterfarm top bucket also.
The worst thing is that there's a scumbag out there who knows what I'm doing and WILL try it again, putting me at risk of confronting someone in a dangerous situation.
This is a legal grow but I don't think I'll call the police.

fuck that shed, put ur plants in ur house man, if he wants em hes gonna have to go in ur house, and keep ur shit locked, and a gun by u, u will hear em come in. and if u arent there, set up an alarm for ur house, and activate that shit everynite and day. fuck that guy, if he comes in ur house, you are able to kill him. if not u can always drag the body gl, sorry about ur mishap

That's what domesticated animals are for. If not dogs, then how about geese or peacocks? I am also a fan of electricity, if it could be applied to your situation fun could ensue. Little fucker.

put a fucking motion camera near that bitch and if he comes back hopefully you can get a picture of the fucker.

get his pic and stick it to the door of the shed with a note with something like 'i know what you did last summer'

if you set up an electric booby trap like i think yoru saying and the guy gets hurt or killed he can press cassault charges or the guy will get a murder charghe if he dies thts kinda a bad idea

In texas you can shoot anybody trespassing on your land, but the laws vary from state to state. If your grow is legal then I think it would be part of protecting your property.

Next time, don't tell anyone that you got ripped, then, when it get's back to you, you have your one chance to trace back the info to the source. It's hard not to tell anyone, but works great for tracing thefts. Little doubt it's an alleged friend.

are you sure you can shoot someone if they come on your property, i saw something on tv the other day about a guy in texas witnessed his neighbors house getting robbed by two illegals, he called 911 and went outside to stop them, one charged at him and the other ran he dropped them both, he was tried one time for 2 counts of murder but found not guilty, now they are trying him again...really made me think twice about how pc texas has become...always wanted to think of it as a cowboy state
