Lol wow maybe don't sell to a snitch yo and u just let that cop choke u wow!
Seriously dude lol, i was put in cuffs the second i was out of car. Even if i was 6'5 and 260 lbs. I was cuffed and surrounded by cops with DEA suits lol. Alittle more intimidating considering not local pd and from what i know feds dont follow state laws... im lucky they didnt cut my plants down before leaving.

Don't patients have to apply with the state for you to be their caregiver? Paperwork before handing out medicine? Was that completed? If not, card or no card, isn't the transaction illegal?

Just curious, be safe.
RI law. . . when a patient goes for a card they establish a caregiver...either themselves or someone else. i do not think there is a law to date to address the issue if a patient changes caregivers. Maybe on the renewal. I think RIPAC has the best info on the previous issue of an illegal raid and some pretty solid ideas on how to keep yourself above the law so to speak.

I think hes asking if i took donation for the meds while my application was not accepted by state yet... I can say that you are not supposed to give meds to anyone cardholder or not without the states approval first. You can "gift" it though just not take donations.

I spoke with my neighbors an i was not raided because someone on this site. The cop told me i was raided because i "sold" to a CI i told him that was impossible because i only gave meds to patients. He said are you sure you checked there cards correctly... then someone mentioned if they wanted they could make a fake id card to get a caregiver to give them meds to then get a warrant... so my understanding was one of the patients i met with had a fake card when i gave them meds and he was actually a cop. (How would i know if his patient number was registered to state without calling, doubt anyone on here calls to see if the patients id is fake the first time you meet them.)

BUT, i spoke with neighbors and they raided me because my neighbor thought since he could smell it so strong i had a ton of plants and couldnt be legal... idiot.

Anyone show me software to edit my video shorter ill upload it so you can see the unmarked cars and people in case they watching you!

I wouldnt say quite afew... id say it was my first time flowering plants and as any beginner you learn as you go. One mistake an that was smell cause didnt know how bag it would be. Now i do an next place it wont be an issue. Also, i wouldnt say helping new patients with meds is me being an idiot either cause me being a caregiver that is kinda my job.

Your right i said he was an idiot, i used wrong word. I ment douchebag. I told him i had card and i was within limits AND he could see if he wanted. He says no i know about the card ect... blah blah and then calls on me saying i have ton of plants.

Sounds likes kid from my high school.
He was attending a rivalry school in the city and moved to our school. He was a basketball player and all our ball players beat him up and shoved a broom stick up his ass..

You can submit paperwork to cancel current caregiver(s) and instate new ones. It's called a "Change Form."
This is the answer to this thread. Aside from proper odor control, just make sure you get the paperwork approved by the state, and a copy/signature. You're doing it legally for a reason, so don't be hastey in the formalities.

A question I did have regarding RI law is the 2.5oz (5 with. 2+ patients) "possession" limit. If I understand that right, as long as you have multiple safe spots with 5oz, you'd never be in "possession" legally of a copious amount.

With that said, still best to stagger grows to dry/cure 5oz at a time I'd image. So you're always legal.

Someone poke holes in my possession idea, I want to make sure we have the best idea of the use of these laws.

Ahhh, true bro. I actually called them myself... nothing about my grow is/was illegal. I only moved cause neighbors and i dont need anyone to check up on me in couple months cause they feel like it. I could easily stay where i am and continue doing whatever i am.

im getting old but it seems like i remember a tranny hooker in ny city getting the same treatment w those clubs they used to have maybe a month before they all started packing tazers

OK, now that this has worked itself out, what did we learn in school today?

1) Cops can and do lie. It's legal for them to do so. They will tell you a lie (You sold to a CI!) in hopes that you will tell them more. It works. People try to talk their way out of it, but only talk their way in deeper. In all objective honesty, cops lying is a valid investigation 'tactic', even though it sucks to be lied to.

2) Neighbors knowing what you do is big bad juju. Like this douche, they may get it in their vacant little heads that for __________ reason, they should call the cops. Or, they talk about it to their douchebag friends at the bar. You can be greatful for this, you were confronted by the police not a crue of armed hijackers.

3) We also learned that the first person who you thought snitched you out, didn't. You came close to publicly outing someone who didn't deserve it. You held back, and I admire your self restraint. We can all learn that holding back untill all the cards come down is a good thing.

I think your right to move. And get a carbon filtered exhaust set up.

Since this thread alot has changed... they did have a warrant. As to how they got the warrant im not sure just yet as im waiting on a copy of it. They just told me there was a warrant a week ago since i showed them video of cop who hit me.

So it comes down to 2 ways, they recieved a warrant because a neighbor told them it smells and a judge signed off on that? Or i did indeed give meds to a CI, which i gave my meds to 3 PATIENTS, 2 of which came from here because they wanted to have me be a caregiver for them. 3rd is my actual patient on books. 1 of the 2 patients from here i spoke to several time about random stuff and i am very confident he is legit patient who needed meds and we talked about growing ect.

However, there is one "patient" on here who i met with whom i never see post and havent spoken to one time since then. Even before this happened he was supposed to meet up with application for state an never did. So that is option 2 of how they have a warrant. Of course i wouldnt and still wont say who i met with though. Whats done is done and althoug they did get a warrant somehow i did nothing illegal an they came were assholes but left without damaging my plants an no arrest since they were indeed feds.

Therefore, you are correct. I did learn something. Idc if you show me a state reg card, feds can make one to see if you take donation and see your grow if you let them to decieve you. A cardholder will NOT get meds from me unless reg as my patient. My freedom and child is more important than someone "needing" meds at that moment.

Follow the regs and the laws. I would even suggest every few months printing them and saving them. . . . the state has had in the past changed regs without a public hearing or vetting (signature of PA/NP on MMJ certs). 11th state was investigated because a doctor gave information to the state (read golocal.prov 11/21) and the state ran with it. Very sad. . trust no one.

Also understand that your records that you turn over to any consulting business are subject to secondary disclosure. (read the release form carefully). So at the end of your appointment if there is anything you do not want shared with the state at a later date take it with you. It is your medical record and not the property of the consulting business.

I have been thinking about this thread off and on. I only check this forum once in a while.

It really sucks that you seem to have been targeted when you are clearly not in this for the money. We all know that there are lots of people using the mmj as a loophole to allow them to grow and sell. They push and in many cases break the rules. Sounds like you are not doing that at all, yet you got a visit from The Man complete with fingers in throught and knuckles on face. That blows. I have one patient (a blood relative) and don't even have half of the allowable number of plants, but I know that if somebody smells something or word passes from lips to ears I could well have a similar visit. I wouldn't end up charged or in jail, but when warrants are served it is often done with shock and awe. Overwealming violent force does keep cops safe because it breaks down the rough customers they deal with. When that force is dropped like a ton of bricks onto Joe Average, well, a ton of bricks pretty destructive.
