im not encouraging reckless behavior either..just recommeding a proper dose...id figure a way to get all that cactus down so i could get spun..like,a cactus chip/turkey sammie..

Lol, well It's about 18 hrs since I first dosed my first portion of pedro. 2 Hrs later I dosed the other 12". I'm still buzzed. Pupils still wide as fuck. I was expecting a "clean" mescaline experience but what I got was cold-chills, muscle spasms and rigid muscles, while in a state of delirium (open and closed eye visuals). I did get some MDA -type "rushes", and at times there would be some "sparkly" white light appearing around edges and corners. I was expecting the "connected with earth" experience, and instead I was just Fucked-Up. From what I have read, my experience def went beyond threshold.

i never got any connected to the earth/nature bizz except on lsd and shrooms,even tho i know mescaline will spark that type of insight.....glad you got something finally..sucks about the spasms

perhaps you might want to try allyescaline..supposedly it lacks some of the oomph of mescaline,but is easily obtained,and from what ive read,very easy on the body..its a blind suggestion however, as ive never consumed any

Yeah, that is a bit of a dilemma. I don't mind waiting, as long as I can occasionally trip on a potent Trichocereus variety (Brigdesii?). I have 3 12" such cuttings otw. Since this species contains many other alkaloids besides Mescaline, I plan on doing no more than 12" for a tester. I have heard plenty of people say that even 8-10" of this cactus is more than enough. What do you think?

that is the way to do it, better with four inches. You felt the effects of too low a dose. It gets smoother sound like you got 75 or 100 mg. Clenching and lack of focus goes away at 150 or so, 200 is spot on things get beautiful at 300 and crazy

Just dreading the preparation. So far, my "cimora" concoction is the only thing I find feasible. Forget about downing/tasting that shit.
Shoul I boil in acidified water longer than 2hrs? Would boiling it for 6 get all the alkaloids out? I plan on using 8" T.Brigdesii (thick, dark blue) for the next experiment and hoping for a dose of @ Least 200mg+ Is this fairly reasonable for T. Brigdesii?

st0wandgrow, I know- do you have any suggestions on how to prepare/consume fresh cuttings? I did a powder x-tract with 91% iso and it wasn't worth a damn. Forget about consuming enough fresh pedro for a trip. So, I am left with boiling it in acidified water. If you know a better method, plz let me know-

i would at least double that, cat. especially if you're considering doing it soon. tolerance, association, etc. i would do 20-24'' and hope for the best and ok with the worst.

Curious, so you think 16" of Thick Brigdesii should contain roughly 200-300mg ? That is the "sweet-spot" I am going for. Also, does it make sense for me to plant the top 4" of my 3 cuttings?
I am asking because: Lets say the original cutting are potent (good, desert habitat in CA), and I grow them (outside of their natural zone)- will this adversely affect the alkaloid content? Could my potent cati become less so, due to me not having a greenhouse in the desert? Just curious-

if your area is more cushy, they may grow faster and be a little weaker, but it's kind of like pot; a good pheno is a good pheno, and will be a good pheno in the future. i'd plant one cut, and prepare the other two. the larger the cutting, the faster it grows. a 4'' cutting will produce small pups, and will take a couple of years to be big again.

Thanks cat, I will take your advice then. I am a little apprehensive about this upcoming trip. Last time, I used (got down) about 12" and was really delirious (fucked up!) for like 11-12 hrs. Didn't get any "spiritual experience"- which is what I am after. Some have said I only got a very low dose of mescaline (100mg). These days, I am not interested in meaningless states of delirium, of simply getting "fucked up". I need an entheogenic experience. I will take everyone's advice and dose more this time. I had bad muscle spasms, shaking, and otherwise unpleasant body effects the whole 12 hrs. Will these negative effects go away with a higher dose (200-300mg)?
