Thanks Mycomaster, I will read up on super-cropping. But I want to flip these soon. Hopefully by the end of the week. I got them big, and I upgraded the environment. I want a big yield.:clap::clap::clap::clap:

I got dirty today. Up in the attic cutting holes in my ceiling. Always fun...makes you feel like your getting something done.

It also beats watching the grass grow. Looks like you got a jungle growing in your garage! Don't know about topping, have to wait to hear from some of the others on that topic.

Later dude.
Hey Prosperian,

Welcome To The Jungle!

how much power you got running in all that? might need a couple dedicated breakers.

Hey TheSnake,

I was told I would need to split the plug ins untilI get the Powerbox DPC 7500 installed.

I'm new at this. Do you think that the powerbox will handle it? The person I brought the equipment from included and used the powerbox.

That's a 220v power box. No problem handling the lights or a clothes dryer, lol! They make three different sockets for the 220v. You might need to convert it to something that matches your house. I've had to do that a couple times to my dryer to get it to hookup to the house wiring. Just be real careful and ask for help if you mess with the 220v wiring.

The guy that owned all this probably had the powerbox plugged into the wall and the rest of the fixtures plugged into the Powerbox. Until you get that box going you will need to run the lights to different circuits to keep from overloading. But that's pretty easy to do.

Yeah, I upgraded my grow and created a dedicated exhaust system to run along side of the sealed HID exhaust system. Temps are running a nice 78 degrees in there right now!

G N' R and the late 80's. Good tunes bad hair.

Congrats Prosperian,

Wish I had the skills to handle the work myself as you do. I will have to get an Electrician to put me a 220 in the garage. I think I'm going to try the SOG. Got to get the Turbo Klone going and stop growing trees.

My new room is starting to sharp up. Got the electrician scheduled, and gonna start the turbo-klone tomorrow. Oh yeah, I switched over to the Advanced Nutrients, I have everything thru the Grand Master Grower Level. I want to see if it produces like I have read that it does. Would love to hear from other Advanced Nutrients users. What has been your experience showing their nutes? :peace:

My next is coming alone nice. I will flip this to 12/12 maybe about 2-4 weeks after the big girls. I'm trying to get a rotation going. I'm getting ready to kick start the Turbo Klone to get the fourth group going. Looking for advice on a good rotation. I'm growing the monster plants anymore. Take up to much time to manage. Thinking about flipping to flower after about 3-4 weeks or when the plants are 18 -24 inches. Also thinking maybe going the SOG route, I have seem some nice youtube videos on SOG, they look very interesting. The next batch of girls are below. I'm still working to get the room done. Been kind of slow going. I made a mistake of grabbing one of the guys that hang around the outside of Home Depot, I'll just say the room was not done to my standard and expectation. So I'm having friend to go over it and make corrections where he can, without tearing it all down and starting over. Looking for advice on SOG and insight from Advanced Nutrients users.

Hey my room is finally coming together. Room is pretty much finished, got to paint the floor white and add fresh air intake and exhaust output. Then set up the equipment. Question, having a debate with my friend on using the 2 600 watts hps lights vs 1 huge 1000 watt hps. Would love your input on the matter. My room is 10 x 10 and 6'9 inches in height. What would you do in reference to the lights? I already own the the 600 watts lights and ballasts.

You've come a long way and the room is looking good. If I were in your shoes, I'd go with what I already own and run the two 600w fixtures. I was concerned about the light coming through the garage door cracks but, the film should block most of that.

Might have some noise issues, doubtful, but if you do, you can buy some insulation board and cover the garage door opening. The insulation board would also help with temps and stealth of the heat sigs. from the street. I would also disconnect the lock arms coming from the outside garage door handle and run bolts through the roller channels to absolutely prevent any movement of that door and access from outside.

I like what I see and I'm jealous of the large grow area. Nice progress!

Thanks, I'm thinking the same thing on the lights. Great idea on the suggestions on the garage door. We used a couple cans of that spray foam insulation to fill all the gaps around the garage door and any other light leaks and holes in the construction. I look at the foam installation boards at Home Depot the last time I was there. I will definitely disconnect the lock arms and bolt the roller channels. How's things going with your grow. Will drop by and check it out. I've been busy getting the setup done.

looking good.. i did something like it also, except i build a 10 x 10 room in my garage back corner away from garage door.... however i still sealed garage door up... i out the reflective board in garage door and then wrapped it with the reflective film that comes in rolls and is kinda expensive... then i ran 2x2 down the garage all the way across it so i could put insulation up... then i wrapped the insulation and garage door in 2 layers of thick plastic :) it works great... if its 100 out i can keep it around 80 in garage with little ac ducted from house ac... my room has its own window unit, which i plan to switch to mini split due to the excess heat put off from window unit....

i would go with 3 1000 watt hps , unless ur splitting your 10x 10 area again for a veg room..... 50 watts per sq ft is what your looking for

Ok, so I read something about super-cropping and decided to give it a half-assed attempt. So with my thumb and index finger I squeezed the the tops until I felt a crunch, didn't do any twisting or bending just the crushing. Below is what developed. Looks like the effort split the main cola into 2. I did this on a couple but the white Widow responded the best. The others developed some additional shoots but none as prominent as the widows. Feedback and comments are encouraged.
