and man did UPS beat the hell out of them. The two hoods are banged up pretty decently, although I am sure I can fix them. One of the ballasts was hit against something so hard both sides of it were bent up and that is some thick metal. And three of the four bulbs were shattered.

Nice work UPS!

Luckily the guy I am doing business with has already agreed to replace everything that is damaged.

he's just mad and wanted to share that ups sucks a big honkey dick somtimes.

i feel your pain, i get very angry when shit i order comes in less the ideal condition

I generally have pretty good luck with them. But for some reason, no matter where I live, I always get my deliveries at the end of the day (unless I have something to do in the morning).

F%$^ dude I would be pissed!

Was there any handle with care stickers on the package? I would complain to them and then tell them you are going to the papers unless they make it right. Can't you guys in the US sue for like anything? I would sue the f^@@# out of them for the emotional distress they caused. :-)

There is general shipping insurance on it.

Yeh, the boxes had fragile shippers all over them. I guess the UPS guys thought that meant they were from France (a fuzzy jelly bean to you if you get the reference).

The seller is pretty pissed and told me this was why he usually just sells locally. My order was large enough ($1700) that he broke his own rule. But he is a class act and is prepared to replace everything that comes in damaged.

To help him out I have offered to continue taking pictures of the damage, write a letter if he needs it or participate on a conference call. Anything within reason to help him out.

And yes, the entire point of this thread was just to bitch. For those of you who like pictures, here are a few of the first portion of my shipment.

HTG is a class act. I'm sure they don't lose money on this if they are insuring like they should.

That really sucks but it happens.

That sucks; I prefer UPS over FedEx though. I've honestly never had a good experience with FedEx... fucking retards.
