Hi!

Long story short. I ordered some supplies online. They buggered up my order so sent me free PK. It arrived and it turns out they sent me Cannazym. Then they said they dint have PK in stock so they sent Canna Terra Flores. So free Cannazym and Flores. Not bad ey...

Anyway, I never even considered using Cannazym before now so I dont really know a lot about it besides what it says on the bottle.

So, when should I start using it. How early in the grow? Should I use it through veg AND flower, or just one or the other? How often is necessary?

Btw, I grow in Canna Terra Pro and use the Canna Terra nutes (vega and flores). Growing from seed. Planning a short 2 week max veg. This run:
1 x Pineapple Kush - HSO
1 x Papaya - Nirvana
1 x Blue Bubba - Hazeman
1 x Bubba Kush - HSO
1 x Ata Tundra - Seedsman
3 x OG Grape Krypt - DNA
2 x Double Gum - WhiteLabel
2 x Black Widow - Mr Nice
2 x Alpha Dawg - Alphakronik
2 x Mighty Grape - Freedom of Seeds
2 x Bubba Love - Alphakronik

I use zym from 2 weeks veg onwards.

Its an enzyme product that helps to breakdown dead roots.

Use it at 2.5ml per litre throughout the entire grow from week2 of veg onwards.

Thanks mate. Guess I'll give it a go then.

So the helping to break down dead roots... how does that help exactly? Does it clear room for.more roots to grow, or are nutrients released when the roots break down, or something else, or a combination? Just curious.

Will it have any noticable effect on the plants? Faster growth rates or the like?

Cheers again

Dont plants produce their own enzymes though? Is their any real world value adding enzymes? Never seen any tests so no idea how beneficial.

^^^this is a good question. Let me tell you why/when i would use enzymes. I don't need to anymore but, 75%ish of my grows for the last 12 or so yrs(since coco hit the scene), have been coco. I started out dripping over 1gal meshbottom pots, 16 per light, and killed it. Because of plant counts, i switched to 9-5gallon pots per light. I'm down to 4-6 per light now(usually haha) Anyways, growing that way, equals lots of trips to dump. And is very stressful for security reasons. To reduce trips to dump, i started reusing the coco. Only one time though, as i found the third go around = crazy deficiencies.
The VERY last watering, before chop time, would be to rinse it very clean, and add the enzymes. I chop down when pots are light. Break down and remove as much roots as i could. Then bag it up. I would let that 1 time used coco w/some roots+enzymes chill for a couple to few weeks before reusing, by then, the roots have mostly been broken down. I would use the enzymes for the first few weeks of growing with it, just to be sure, then discontinued using it. Cannazyme being the best IMO. And never tried pet store bought.
I don't have security issues any longer, and doing this was a Pain in da ASS! Worked good though
