she is the prettiest little thing. 3 years old. all shots, spayed, microchipped. big huge emerald green eyes. she's been locked in a cage for the past 6 weeks waiting for someone to come buy her. she was at the pet store. i made my wife look at the kitties a few days ago. we went inside the kitty room and pet them all. as soon as we saw this one we know we had to have her. my wife called me today. she says "i'm at petsmart looking at this kitty again". you have to fill out an "application" to purchase them. they didn't have the application there. the actually go thru a rescue center with all the kitties. the store just kinda rents them space to put them up to adopt.
so they give my wife the # to the people that adopt the cats out. dude says if we want we can get her today. so we met him there a few hours later and took her home. she is on the bed rolling around purring right now.
she did hiss at all the other kitties. they seemed calm and interested, she seemed pissed. hopefully this will pass within a day or two. it usually does. we have 14 days to return her if it doesn't work out. i'm sure things will be fine.

I wasn't always, because when I was a kid I was around them all the time without a problem, then I went a long time without having a cat, and then discovered I was allergic!
