Gorilla Glue #4 Smell

Hi,

I have some gg #4 going in the basement in a fairly sealed grow room. I have 9 plants in veg about 2' tall except one who recently took root and is still only about 6"

The grow room consists of one completely sealed room with an adjacent tent and two 200 cfm booster fans circulating air between the tent and room. I tyvek taped most of the openings in the tent. This allows the CO2 generator to provide CO2 for both rooms.

When everything is closed up, it's all good, I can walk in there though and it is DANK.

The problem is that when I go to do any moving or working between the spaces if I have either the exterior door of the sealed room open or the tent door unzipped the whole place reeks for hours.

I do have a 600cfm inline fan sitting in the lid of a 5 gallon bucket I had filled with carbon and drilled a ton of holes in with some thick screening to allow an air passage the height of the bucket, like I've seen some other DIYers do. I actually even used carbon sold specifically for air scrubbers.

Between the tent and room I have 1223 cubic foot and so theoretically I should be changing the air every two minutes through the scrubber but it still reeeeeeeks.

Does my DIY job just suck and I should buy a phresh filter or is this common with the gg #4? It's still in veg, how many carbon scrubbers will I need in flower?

I have GG#4 in flower and she does have strong nice smell, I pull fresh air in and exhaust air out to the outside, you need to upgrade your air flow and get a negative charge it will pull the smell out.
I also have a large carbon scubber in my grow room just to scrub the air, also the air in has a filter and exit air has another filter

Peace

Was literally just listening to a video about GG when I saw this thread. Looks delicious and apparently it tastes great as well!
