Makes me want to try outdoors!
Ironically , I was over my personal limit “photos I posted today “ , we had two New York State police officers stop by this afternoon . They told us all the rules , we played dumb like we misunderstood - so I just have to move a few to my other property lmao .
I remember back in the day , I would’ve been spending some alone time 3 hots and a cot at the county hotel , now it’s “we really don’t wanna be here but somebody called in a complaint “!

In any event , they were super cool - they even got down and smelled an autoflower that’s caked with trichomes haha . Asked “wth do you feed these things ?! Also asked if they were thc or hemp .

now I gotta find a big enclosed trailer to transport a few glue , up the road to my other property , before they stop back and put me in time out !

It’s amazing what a plant can yield , outdoors in direct sunlight . I grow indoors and outdoors and let me tell you , a big outdoor crop is a full time job 7 days a week pests , bugs , deer , assholes , lots of pruning , watering , and lots of digging haha
I've done both and where I live, it's damned near a full-time job caring for just a few cannabis plants outdoors. The fkng spider mites are literally everywhere. Deer are so numerous that the only way we can have a normal little veggie garden is to run electric fence around it. We spotted 4 last month at 1 time stretching over the wire to snag whatever they could( wire was moved out 3 feet next day). The digging in rock-hard clay and carrying water? I'm out. All that work and still 50/50 on getting mold later on its so humid. Wish it was feasible though. Would save me alot on power and I'd get more outta 1 plant than I do 6 in my space. It is amazing what they can do.

I will say that smoking a fat one after eating fresh venison is a treat. I swear they love pot plants. Leave em outside here without putting human scent markers all around and they're lucky to last a week. I swear, I believe the spider mites here have radar for plants. I have to wash and change clothes before even entering my room. Else, mites. Those 2 spotted fkrs . I'd give much to live in the mountains. This is the dirty drawers of America here. People ask me why I don't grow outdoors. Because....things..and, stuff!

I am getting one of those! It'll save my ass after all the times I've left stickies on my wife's nice clothes. She had a green velvet dress last year that I had a plant hanging against. She had red pistils stuck all over the back. She looked like a walking bud lol. Took me a wad of masking tape to remove. Yes. This would save my ass those chewing.

Annie confirmed yesterday the feminized auto had become a male photo. Let my kid take his Katana to it. I'm leaving the clones from it alone for now. They are still really healthy after 2 weeks so I may as well see if they root. Shit to lose there. GG autoflowers are growing. Hope what I've learned the past couple years pays off.

had to invest in a two gas powered water pumps and some 250 gallon reservoirs.

1 reservoir , Pretty much feeds 19 gorilla glue in 10 gallon fabric pots , for a day . Thank god the river is 500 foot away . I’m convinced that this jacks 321 is like crack for cannabis .

im saving the last 20 gallons of my nectar of the gods , for late flowering . I know people say you shouldn’t switch nutrient lines , but these have seen a little bit of everything and not once had a single issue .

People can say what they want, but you obviously know wtf you're doing. Those are big ,beautiful, strong and healthy plants. Whatever you're doing, it works for you. Yeah, I'd hate to be far from water with those beasts. They're almost orange tree sized lol.

Thanks . I know these could easily push 15 feet on the correct size pots/holes .

Unfortunately our well can’t keep up with 19 lol, it’s been crazy dry here this year.

I have to move a few of them” local law enforcement paid us a visit , becuase of a nosy neighbor “

but I have a nice big spot for them to get the same quality light as they have been . After harvest , I’m renting an excavator and digging 12 massive holes for next year - I wanna see how heavy one of these GG’s can yield , and will start indoors around February so they have 3 months to veg indoors. I’m going to dig 100+ gallon holes , filled with coco , and design a drip system , so that they’re constantly fed throughout the day .

my biggest issue has been wind tipping them over when they’re dry .

I also think I would benefit from more feeding. They drink but dry out inside of 2-3 hours , so my guess is ideally they should be fed 4-5x a day in smaller amounts , but I like to water heavy to try and rinse any salts that may have built up .

the picture I’m posting is of my other grow , but to the left of the camera I have a nice wide open spot to give them piles of sunlight .

I also put these gorilla glue clones out 10 days ago . They were all 4-8 inches tall , but have overcrowded eachother and shot to 3 foot in no time .ignore the small wilted plant in the 1 gallon pot lmao IMG_2619.jpegIMG_2620.jpeg

Hey folk's, so it's approaching the end of wk5 going on wk6.
1st Gorilla glue, I'd never have guessed 1.8ec was too low, I increased the ec to 2.2 + 50ppm of calmag and its fair to say there's a notable difference.

The reason for bending them over is different heights, I'm not letting taller plants rule the show this is my gig :bigjoint:

Blueberry twist.

Fruity pebbles ( smells amazing and a nice shape/height plant in general)

Back) lemon cherry gelato and bluchi v3

What media? Couple of us feed really low ppm with good results in coco.

Hey bud, they're in coco and perlite 50/50 mix, I'm sure the ec needs are down to the light intensity/environment there's 650w-60/65k lux over the 4x4 canopy @10/15" ime the ec is relative to light intensity, more light needs more ec.

That said not normally that high tbh, I wanted to increase the ec sufficiently so any changes in the sick plants would be clear to see (they're being fed separately)

I'm not big on high ec feeds for the sake of it I'm happy using 1.2/1.3ec for flowering if I can.

I got the some yellowing plants in my last crop using 1.8ec but I didn't think it could be nutrient related with 1.8ec, this time when yellowing happened again I still thought the same but I had to try something so raising the ec was my 1st step.

Cheers bud

My gg4 outdoor plant is doing some reveg stuff. I guess when it went outside from an 18/6 environment, daylight was short enough to trigger flower a bit, then days got longer and now, on the cusp of actual flower time, it's throwing 3 and single blade leaves. Fun stuff! Gonna take some more cuttings now for extra hijinks. It had to go out when it did. It was too big for indoor anymore.20240803_103152.jpg20240803_103144.jpg

Hey folk's, who'd like more light for a one off payment of peanuts?

A while back I made a reflector with mylar and some 2" pipe.
It's on easi now so I can raise or lower it when needed its always used.
20240101_170857.jpg
It increases the light intensity immediately on the inside, from this
Screenshot_20211224-193620.png
To this, with the mylar hanging down inline with the light.
_20211224_194038.JPG
The center area hotspot increased by 6/7% but I can't remember if that was just with the reflector or after id added more mylar, i was so shocked at the results I added more afterwards either way it's a big difference.

Total cost £10 it really is an upgrade in itself i think that's 40% around the edges fading to 6/7% in the middle for peanuts.
