Gorilla Cookies 420 Grow (1/2lb Attempt)

Hello everyone! I've moved my grow to a new place and this is finally going to be the run I've always wanted to do. In my previous grows I've had to remain somewhat stealthy but I have free reign on this one. What I should really do is get a 4x4 and a new light and just go nuts but I don't have the money saved up for that at the moment. I'll just be sticking to my 2x2 tent and 100w lm301b qb for now. My last run yielded 1/4lb. This run I'm going for a 1/2lb which is about 2 grams per watt. In the past I've always cut my veg and flower times short and I feel that's where I'm losing most of my yield along with nutrient burn which I plan to avoid 100% this run. Patience is going to be the top priority for me here.

So here are the sprouts:

This one's looking great. After removing the seed husk this morning it starting producing chlorophyll right away.

This one not so much:

This one looks like it's going to die. Been the same way no progress for 3 days. I'd say it didn't handle the husk removal as well.

I got two seeds germinating to replace it:

I always use the napkin. When I go directly in soil I always get a loop in my main stalk from where it had to look for which direction to go. Not a fan. It feels like flow to the plant is restricted. I've never had a seedling just stay stuck like that for days though. You could argue it's building roots or something but the first sprout is looking good like that after just 2 days in soil so I'm chalking it up to a weak pheno and I'm just gonna toss it.

If I'm going to get a half pound I need a hearty seedling out the gate. I can't rely on a weak plant. Better to lose a couple of days now than a couple of ounces later.

Lol when I scrolled down I was expecting to see a full canopy in week 3 at least but where did you get the seeds from ?
These seeds are from Colorado. I picked up a couple ounces of Gorilla Cookies on my last trip out to Trinidad. It was some sungrown at 23% thc but very outdoorsy and brown... just kinda had a generic grassy flavor. The seeds are big though. I have a feeling I can grow it indoors much better than what I smoked. I know the gorilla glue in there is capable of a huge yield with the flavor coming from the cookies.

Should be some beautiful sticky hard hardball nugs

I've been having a hell of a time getting new seedlings started.

This one had weird cotyledons and started withering before any leaves could start so I scrapped it as well and decided to plant the two seeds that were germinating. They just broke soil this morning.

They should both be gorilla cookies but after popping so many seeds I'm not 100% sure. I got to the point where I was just putting my best looking seeds all in the same jar and I'm totally regretting it for classification purposes.

My guess is that I was burying too shallow and when I went to remove the husks the cotyledons were getting shredded. One broke it's seed off in the soil but the other one is still hanging on loosely. I have a feeling it'll fall off when the cotyledons push towards the light... gave it a misting to soften it.

They're moving along! Thank God these took cause I was getting discouraged.

The first one is still droopy but I can see it trying to open so I'm misting when dry to keep it soft. The second one is a go though baby! We have lift off.
