The hospital and doctor got paid their already negotiated fees from the insurance company that I and others paid. They didn't have to agree to those fees with my insurance company, but actually chose to do so, long before I came along with my back issue.

Not really it just demonstrate to me how insensitive you are to other people's plight, this was a young mother who did what many people do, make difficult choices. Sometimes the choice you make can be a devastating one. As I recall we were talking about lazy black folks who prefer getting a welfare check instead of getting a job.

I remembered your response was she deserved what had happened because she left her kids unattended, imo that was a harsh thing to say and demonstrated to me your total lack of compassion towards others.

Your point being what? What does wealthy people making difficult choices have to do with anything? It's his his callous retort that makes me question his humanity towards people at a lower station in life.

Her boyfriend who was killed in an accident was working as a helper in my company for almost a year making $8.60@hr for year 1 with raises of $8.60 per year until year 5, he was so happy because he just landed a good job with bennies. He had a baby on the way he brought his girlfriend to the Christmas party where we met her she was working at Micky D's. He died a short time later and then his girlfriend lost her kids in a fire. He was the only one to make the stupid comment that he thought it was a BS story and that she deserved it.

Lol @ $160k, I'll hit that before August. My wife makes just over $70k/yr. I don't just install blinds numbnuts, I own the company. The two subcontractors that do my installations make more than $25k per year from the jobs I give them. My time is spent selling these days...back problems and all.

At least you said "as I recall" which gives you an out while still throwing a backhanded jab of racist in my direction. Well done. We may have been on the subject of "lazy poor people". I had an uncle that was the poster child for that description, as was every individual he called friend.

Like I said Republicans are all pos, they bitch about lazy black folks but when evidence is given of a young black mother who is struggling to keep a roof over her and her children's head and put food on the table and she loses her kids in a fire because she went to WORK and you respond with callousness, you are sub human.

Republicans will slap you on the back if you make it and give you a 'that a boy', but will do everything in their power to make sure you have the hardest time getting there (high interest rates for student loans).
