"Intelligent" debate? There is no debate at RIU, only hate.
Speaking of illogical (and useless).![]()
let's discuss #10..War, war, war. When do we get to their other major priority: tax breaks for billionaires?
does any small business owner here believe that the c-corp deserves to purchase a NEGATIVE EFFECTIVE TAX RATE..when YOU have to pay full boat?
how does that make you feel?

I enjoyed the GOP debate. Quite a donnybrook! Very entertaining.
It was fun to see the front-running Trump nonplussed and stupefied...
Too bad the Dems do not have more candidates so that they can put on the same type of freewheeling brouhaha.
I hope Jerry Brown and Uncle Joe declare in time for the initial Oct 13 fun fest!
The more, the merrier!!!
I'm more than happy to talk about how statists on both sides of the aisle (primarily Democrats) are responsible for our ridiculous progressive tax system that makes exactly what you described, possible.
Enter the flat tax. Solves everything...end of debate. Who's for that? How many Dems? How would they give GE a pass on taxes?
Please don't say it adversely affects the poor, almost every flat tax proposal waives the first $20k or so of income. I'll bet you didn't know that, did you?
When you say that C-corps buy themselves negative effective tax rates, what are you referring to? Loss carryforwards? As far as I know that is the thing that explains the majority of negative or zero effective tax rates on profitable periods.did i just read this right?..the dems are responsible for the tax code?
rather than the distraction you've posted..can you answer my question? as a businessman how does it make you feel knowing c-corps can buy themselves negative effective tax rate and you pay full price? do you not see anything wrong with this concept of paying no taxes at all?

still america 'squatch..no one is forcing anyone to vote for bernie.
let's expand on 'force' that bernie has submitted us to?
you may wish to check his voting record before making such an asshat comment.
18 is still legal age..anything less..well..is..ya know![]()

Your blind obedience to your blatant cognitive dissonance is showing. War is a symptom of and derived from force and it occurs in many ways. Bernie is down with forcing people to do lots of things, even people that are behaving peacefully. He thinks when he does that, somehow its okay.
He thinks it's okay to :
a) force people to belong to something he believes they must belong to, even if they disagree
b) purchase things he believes they must purchase, even if they don't want to
c) fund things he believes they must fund, even if they don't use it and don't want it
Your assertion claiming Bernie isn't "warlike" has been refuted. Now go check the mail and don't forget to clean up when you're through.

Bernie kicks puppies and forces their mothers to get spayed. How'm I doing?
Did I just read this right? You think Dems aren't responsible for just as much of the current tax code as the Repubs? Do you hear any of them screaming for a flat tax? Of course not, it's hard to provide political favors through the tax code if you're bound by a flat tax.
There was no distraction, there was a straightforward answer you don't like. Let me be clear, the ONLY way you end the problem you've described is a flat tax.
Small tweaks to the existing system are meaningless. You're trying to put out the campfire while the cabin is burning down behind you.
I noticed you don't want to address the flat tax because it answers your question and with the "po' folks" waiver amount, there's no way you can cut it down. No more IRS, no more political favors through tax breaks, rich paying their fair share, poor provided a substantial break, easy filing...how awful.
OK, I read the report. Clear as mud. This CTJ org has an agenda and cherry picked 12 companies out of the F500 that had cumulative negative tax payments over a 3 year period. CTJ may have a valid point to make but the methodology used here is ridiculous. My S-corp took minor losses in 2013 and they will be applied to my 2014 profits for tax calculation purposes. I paid no one for this subsidy if that is what they are calling it.yes, citizens for tax justice reports:
CTJ analyzes the pretax U.S. profits, federal taxes paid and effective tax rates of a dozen Fortune 500 companies over the 2008-10 period. From 2008 through 2010, these 12 companies reported $175 billion in pretax U.S. profits. But as a group, their federal income taxes were negative: –$2.4 billion.

and of course:

Just took a look at the debate poll on Drudge.
As to who won the debate.
Trump - 51%
Fiorina - 22%
Rubio - 7%
Cruz - 6%
I didn't watch it, but it appears the Donald is impervious to attack. I assume they all went after him. Didn't work from the look of it. Mind you, we don't really give a shit about liberals' opinions on the topic, you can't keep your own shit together and we want the candidate you like the least.
How fucking awesome would it be if he was elected POTUS? Now that the door is open, think of all the liberal soul crushing executive orders he could enact.
I might actually change my vote from Hillary to him if he makes it to the general.
wonder what it was like to have poop slide down the windshield of your family car?
how can someone be so fucking cruel to a beloved family pet?..the one who always greets you at the door gives love when no one else will?
he took off and they never found him..although, the bogus romney approved story is: he went to live on a farm.
n'awwwwwwwww he has his own Wiki:
