Whether you like him or not, George H.W. Bush had two distinct characteristics to his presidency:

1. He was the last U.S. President that served in the active military.

2. He was the last U.S. President to conduct a war that had an end. His plan was simple:
  • Destroy Iraq's ability to make war.
  • Liberate Kuwait.
  • Shore up Kuwait's defenses so they wouldn't be overrun again.
  • Bring everybody home.
And that's exactly what he did. It took him only 6 months.

The wars his son started are still going on with no end in sight, much like the Vietnam war Johnson started.

Yes, he absolutely said that.

Dozens of times to many people.

And there's a good reason for it: His arms no longer worked.

Anybody that ever posed with him to take a picture the last 6 years of his life would always wind up hitting his arm with their lower hip because he could no longer move them with anything resembling control. He would tell the joke as an ice breaker.

Of the dozens of women and men that heard that joke over the last 5 years (yes, he told the same joke to men when it happened to them) only one person got all butthurt over it: Heather Lind.

But then again, that's what people whose acting careers never really took off do to get attention - take to Instagram with a bullshit story to get a spotlight on them again for a few days.
 
and let us not forget how he pardoned Defense Secretary Caspar W. Weinberger to save his own ass with the Nicaraguan bullshit.

We agree, almost all politician's are advocates of murder, by virtue of their participation in a system where ultimately death is the penalty for any infraction to their edicts.

I'm not embarrassed by a President's actions, and suggest you shouldn't be either. You are an individual right?
 
We are responsible, directly, or indirectly, for who sits in the White House. I'm ashamed that we in general, and I in particular, have allowed things to get into the state they're in.
you can say it's all a sham, and you're probably right, but if i'm going to hell, i'd rather have a calm, reasonable hand at the wheel, trying to guide the hand basket from immediate destruction, instead of having Captain Spaulding with a comb over trying to lean the whole thing over into an eskimo roll in the lake of fire

I'm sorry that you can't see that what happened to you as a child was wrong. You were much too young to understand what was going on, but you are older now and should see that a 12 year old should not have been taken advantage of in such a way. Did you tell you mother what happen to you ?
