Good Weed

I have regular middle grade bag seed. Is it possible to plant it and end up with Nugget or Piff? I'm growing in soil, and am using CFL's. I read the Grow FAQ and searched but I couldn't find seeds for either of the two (Piff or Nugget). So how is it grown?

the seed is the strain. meaning the traits and qualities in a bag of buds is all b/c of the traits passed on through genetics. If you use your mid grade seeds and grow them well, you may end up with a better over all bud as the first bag but it still be mids.

Bag seed weed tends to be lower quality not because of genetics, but because it was grown poorly, cured poorly, and shipped poorly. You can grow really good dope from bag seed if you treat it right.

see i dont think so, in my opinion. Define poor growing conditions, and how poor canit be to result in shwag, why would a grower waste his or her time to grow bad weed. Genetics plays a huge roll in overall characteristics of the bud. so if I take a clutch medical strand like OG KUSH and grow in the same enviroment as a middle garde bagseed, your saying that the middle grade bagseed is going to be as fire?

you can grow some good herb from midgrade bag seed...and with proper growing and nutrients you can come away with some really good herb....it wont be the super but it will be better than the weed it came from.....

I am growing a random seed i found in a bag of mid grade weed, and it is sick. I cut a bit of a week ago to try at about8.5 weeks flowering now im cutting tomorrow at 10 weeks. My personal opinion there are quality growers and commercial growers the two dont mix well. Ill post pics when i get back into town look for them

Well first off how good a job did the OG do if it has seeds? Grow it up sensi and it will already be better. cool

well if ur mids are like my mids its usually
a decent plant that has been grown by the thousands in mexico where people then drag them and cut em up, keif the ever living shit out of it, then pack it in a press at 10 tons, then send this rock hard seedy weed with no trichromews left and then stick it in a containr of wet bread to make it sell heavy....
so, yes it is very possible for decent genetics to be very poorly grown, dried and abused like a red head step child, and sold as crap, hell, if it wasnt nessesary would you do all the carful tedious tasks that result i n good weed?
well we do do these things for our own small crops of good weed. we have the resources, but hink of how much work a few acres in 100+ heat with man eating ants and bees and shit in mexico... speed and income vs quality and time..

so yes, I have some decent plants going and they were mids bagseed, have had em in the past too! not too bad.

hey, if the farmer wont take time to treat a crop well begin to fin, why would they bother with good genetics either?

I wasnt talking about brick weed. My mids were decent nugs that looked alot better than they tasted leaving a real stoney buzz, it is pretty much the usual that goes around unless you want to pay a ton.
