When do you think I should throw my plants into 12/12? There about 1 1/2 feet tall and the room I'm growing in is about 7 feet. they are indica buds too. Help much appreciated.

Whenever you like 
They will double to triple in size throughout flowering though it seems like you have plenty of space

depends on the light you are using. You can veg to any size but only the top part of the plant will get light.
example
I use 1000w and put my indica's into flower when they reach 18 inches, they finish at about 4 feet which is the max penatration of a 1000w.
I have grown them higher but no light gets to the bottom of the plant.
