Good Temp to Dry Buds at?

ok im just curious whats a good temperature range to keep buds at while drying? i have some drying and its 69 degrees its been 7 days since they started drying and it feels like they arent even close to being dry enough to jar.

room temp or slightly cooler imo

7 days at 69 they should be dry enough to jar. You're not waiting for them to get crispy are you?

Was waiting for the stem to almost snap. They don't even crack. They just bend

Well if you wait that long the bud will be overly dry. Wait for the bud to feel kinda crispy, then jar it up, about half full. When the bud moistens back up, open the jar and shuffle the buds around and leave the cap off. Rinse and repeat until the bud is dry all the way through. Not so dry you can break it up with your fingers though. A lot of people let it dry until the stem snaps, but by then the bud material is super dry and loses smell and taste.

Well the buds are still moist like still too wet to jar imo.

Wow, after a week? That's crazy. You in a state that's wet and humid?

as long as your humidity isnt bad they should dry well in anywhere from 68-85 degrees or so. just have good air flow, cut off as much stem as you can and check every couple hours for mold. with a good wind you should be able to dry them in 3 days if you have low humidity.
if you think youve done enough drying you can move them to a wooden box or a brown paper bag, this helps wick out excess moisture. after you have taken out most of its water weight, move it to a jar for cure. check the buds in the jar and burp the air constantly, observe the buds and if they still feel wet move them to the wooden box or brown bag.

another good method is to put a paper towel in the lid of the jar, if it comes out moist move it back to a brown paper bag or hang it for a few more hours.
