Good Strains

Yeah I know this is in toke n talk and not the seed strain section but I like the people who are always on toke n talk. Anyways I am going to be buying 3 strains but I just can't decide or find any that blow me away, things I am looking for are high thc content 20%+ a good yielder for larger plants not scrog/sog/bog, and an amazing high I want something that really knocks you out I don't want to be able to move.

So what strains have you guys had that you think are the best from personal experience NOT google?

Are you serious right now? I am not looking for Google answers, I am looking to discuss strains that fit into the categories that I mentioned. You are not one of the people I like on toke n talk.

The best strain I ever tried was Acapulco Gold. I took 4 hits, and got pretty messed
up. I got absolutely nothing done that day, just too damn high, which is a good thing.

im sorry if i came across rude, i re-read what i said and kinda dick... but anyways its really hard to say whats the best. i personally go with the majority. if i had to buy 3, at least 2 of them would have been cannabis cup winners if your looking for A+ stuff

ive heard barneys farm LSD is a knock you out make you almost trip kinda high
alot of very potent strains have been bred with big bud strains, making for a hefty yield with knockout high.
i honestly asked the same question when i first got on.
are you growing indoors or out?
whats your medium if indoor?

Yeah I looked into the LSD and thats on my list that I am making to narrow it down, my setup will be indoors, FFOF, 2x400w mh/hps, unsure of the nutes at this moment.

FFOF is best imo... how big is your grow area? not that it really matters

Check out C99 lines. I hear its a hit with commercial growers for its yield and potency
ive also read that green crack is a "commercial growers dream" 50 day turnaround and high potency

somango a++ with taste and high, BOG lifesaver a++ taste color and high, O.G. kush is a must and trainwreck. You will enjoy all of these. Also must have's are blue cheese and hahaaaaa just forgot the last one but if i remember i will let you know. hang on a second i need to try an think for a second about this, YEssS!!! ok headband and amnesia haze are also very very good. ENJOY!!! trust me you will not be disappointed in any of them just make sure they are actually those strains and yeild plus taste and high's are phenominal

I'll look into those so far I'm ordering green crack even though I have had it before its a favorite that I was just reminded of, the LSD, and possibly a autoflower how are those I have never tried one.

i just started my autos, 9 of em, along with 2 normal strains. all beans popped and i already have one sprouting. they should all be done within 8 weeks.link in my sig.

auto flower is nice if your selling it. smoking not so much unless you prefer a pumping headache afterwards. i personally dont smoke ruderalis plants, but if you like to rush things instead of waiting for some much better then i would suggest it. Bog is an uplifting high that last about an hr to an hr n a half with no sleepy fealing when coming down. it keeps you focused when you need to be but you can laugh about nothing and not stop also haha. Somango has amazing taste and gets you ripped for about 2hrs and a little tired when coming down but not to bad compared to others.

funny you're strain shopping, dj, so am i.... i have to narrow it down to three and here's what i have so far:
-dr. atomic's atomic jam (nl x blue), haze (nl x haze), shiva (nl x some crazy indica he picked up in india), or thai lights (nl x the same weed as thai stick but without the opium resin lol) (which is pretty much his entire collection right now but i want one of them frrr shrrrr)
-next gen's avalon (blue x afghani) or romulan (ummm.... proprietal i think?). <-- those are what i'm looking at right now specifically but any of their grapefruit/mikado strains are phenomenal as well.
-the aforementioned somango (which, in case you were wondering, is a jh x bks - total mmmmm)
-either sensi's "durban" or dutch passion's "durban poison"

Everyone likes different highs and i will admit some of your choices seem really good, i think i might try some n.l mix because that is a real o.g. right there. good call

uh..... i don't know if i identify *myself as a hippy, but outside looking in, i'm definitely put in that category a lot lol.... (i wear leather and i eat meat but i prefer those products to come from sustainable happy animals, that sort of thing).
i used to have many close friends who worked closely with seeds and their breeders (well, i still have the friends, a lot of them aren't in the seed biz anymore) - i'm a bit of a strainwhore.

well, hubby has relented and now i'm allowed to get 4, so, having consulted the catalogues of the 2 local seed banks we support, we've made our decision (i think):
-dr atomic's atomic jam (the nl blue)
-next gen's avalon (blug afghani)
-durban poison (100% african sativa)
-cash crop ken's rene x nuken (tbh i don't really know a lot about this nuken but anything with a legendary 'clone-only' rene mother is un-pass-up-able for me.) (rene, if i remember correctly, is a 60/40 sativa, and is a really nice peppery fruity flowery smoke.... i'm shopping for the flava this time)

a close runner-up was dr atomic's nepal baba - she's one of the ornery low-yield sativas with the phenomenal smoke and high; i had just talked hubby into letting me get it as a fourth when i came across the rene cross - no amount of wheedling or promises of sexual favours was gonna get me 5..... *sigh* maybe next time we get a crop in.....)

I will swear by my DOG kush, which I made from crossing some bagseed OG Kush seeds and some bagseed Headband seeds that I bought many years ago in one of my local coffeeshops in Amsterdam. I backcrossed the Headband into the OG, and have a really nice, high yielding, knock you on your arse and take your head into space kush. Quite a few people on RIU have grown it and will back that up (both stateside and in Blighty among others.)

ok kitty, im going to put this gently not genitial to you... first of all animals that you are speaking of which are most likely pork or beef come from slaughter house where they are gentically raised. Look up the info its gross. I am personally a hunter and dont like it. so they are not happy nor' healthy. your a clone machine like your plants. you go based off of others opinions and dont have a solid backbone and can not support your own strains. You base them on other opions. PLEASE DJ do not listen to her crazy antics do your own thing.

um.... that's kind of presumptuous don't you think?
i live in a rich agricultural area and get to meet my animals before i eat them.
i realise it's not so for the animals i wear but note i said 'prefer' not 'adamantly demand'.
