Good Pheno vs. Bad Pheno

Looking at the pics below, you can see that all the green labled pots are pheno hunted Dosi Whoa! (which is a good proven winner). ... a new strain that Im trying is Bittersweet Haze, and Lemon Cane.
Looking at the orange label BitterSweet, you can see (if you zoom in) that these are labeled M10 in the lower right corner of the label. I took these clones from Mother #10... if you look at the one in the foreground, it's the same strain, but from Mother #09. Same strain, feed, conditions, etc. Some phenos are just bad. Am I going to try to finish them?.... prob wait and see how they do. These are the only 4 in the room that look like shit. PH is spot on, and Im not treating them any different than the others. One thing I can tell you, they will not make it to the next round......they are the weakest link... Goodbye.IMG_7359.jpegIMG_7360.jpeg

These three buds are different phenotypes of Cannarado’s Gold Gushers. All were grown under the same light, getting the same nutrients in a shared bed. The one on the bottom doesn’t only look 1000x better, but it also had a strong lemon profile unlike the others. One of them smelled like fried chicken.

Some phenos just outright suck.

I mentioned in the Cannarado thread last winter, but you probably saw the "least favorite strains" or whatever thread. The fried chicken was a different pheno. The one with the crazy foxtail was really potent, but had a weird unidentified terp profile. I ran this stupid strain twice because I popped the seeds before the plants were very deep into flower.

Not knocking Cannarado either. Aside from this strain, everything else was absolute fire. I just know to steer clear of Malawi crosses from now on.

Funny you say that many folk on uk420 been hunting for roast chicken crisp/herb type terps theres a whole thread apparently white family hybrids bring it out supposedly its recessive but can be found kinda cool to know some other strains got that or similiar going on too
