Good Morning/Weather Report Suite

I'm sitting out on my back patio enjoying a cup of coffee in the shade, mid 70s at 8:30.

88/59, chance of storms. Had a rumbly one come through about dusk last night but it didn't drop anything.

My favorite 70s Neil Young tune isn't even a Neil Young tune;

I went through a America/CSN&Y/Cat Stevens phase myself. But as far as the two Neil Youngs, I listen to the electric one.

I need to remember to watch. There was a time in my life when I recorded every SNL {as well as ACL} to DVD. Now that it's as easy as setting the DVR to record all new, I rarely look at it.

I watched it just now. Funny shit there. They can shine a light in the dusty corners the pols would rather stay in the dark. Since John Stewart is off the air, I don't really watch night time TV at all. I do record Russilo & Kanell {a sports talk show} everyday. Then I'll listen to the good bits when I'm in the house.
 
Much nicer weather today !
Got the delta breeze making it out here to the hills .
First time in two weeks ain't sweating balls by 10:30 .
Might get to skip a day watering soon .
 
Thunder is getting closer here. Would love to see a shower. At the house I mean. It rains all the damn time here in town, and passes right over my patches.

I should be getting off work about now, but I have a couple hours of workwork left over from last night. After a short safety meeting {with me, myself and I} I going to get to it.
 
Got a LOUD crash of thunder about 30 minutes ago, along with a short but intense rain.

Knocked the edge right off the hot weather and gave my thirsty lawn a much needed drink, too.
