Have fun. I'm just about done here. I have to clean up after today's event, but it's in one of the small rooms, so I'll be heading home shortly. And it is Sunday, so after supper with the wife, I'll be heading to the camp.

The story is he stole a bag from someone, then him and his wife baked it into brownies. He did lose his job, but didn't get charged with anything. The clip on Fox news was kind of funny. The one I posted was sad. Dumb fucker just threw away his future.

I stayed at the camp, and spitting rain woke me at 0530. I did get out and do a little hole digging and planting, but my garden at the house had to be picked, so I didn't get all that much done.
At 1710 it's mostly cloudy, 79F with 79% humidity. The forecast high/low is 80/70F with 60% chance of rain.

Couldn't listen to my NPR station today with a damn, seemed like every 5 minutes they broke in with severe thunderstorm warnings and even tornado warnings.
Nothing threatening my house but the eastern plains were definitely in the line of fire. I didn't even get any rain.

Gotta love that blue line. So a cop STEALS an illegal substance, probably while on duty or at least connected to his official status, and basically is outed by his 911 call. No charges.
If he was in any other job (not related to the court system), they would have charged him 9 ways to Sunday. He was probably even given the option to resign.

It's still feels like April weather here, but June looks like its showing up on Saturday. Typically western Oregon has a great summer, usually by June 1st we're in it. These are some of the longest days of the year, it'll be nice when the sun finally comes out and stays out and we can leverage that.
Some time this week we're taking down a second tree on the south side (the only one left on the south side of our property), that should add another hour or so to the girls time in direct sunlight, opening up a 4pm-5pm (+/-) slot in the sky. We planted about a dozen trees (mostly fruit, but lots of other native trees) so I don't feel bad about the two we'll have taken down. Sun matters. My first grow on this property I had some huge cannabis plants growing, and then come mid-August into September the sun dipped down below trees to our south and those girls didn't get enough light to finish. I had two huge plants full of small underdeveloped moldy buds when I finally gave up on them mid-October. Learned a lot that first year.

We had a little sun and a little rain today. At 1845 it's mostly cloudy, 79F with 87% humidity. Forecast high/low is 90/71F with 20% chance of rain. I looked about an hour ago, and it was 100% chance of rain. I guess it has passed for the day. We had just a hair over an inch since midnight.

I guess we are in our rainy season. Another day of off and on showers. At 1650 it's mostly cloudy, 77F with 89% humidity. The forecast high/low is 86/71F with 20% chance of rain. For the next 10 days my forecast says Chance of Thunderstorm.

108 tomorrow with a low of 80 tonight. ... I even moved my meat rabbits indoors. we're in for a week of this with a high of 111.
