About how long into the grow should I check the sex and what hour light cycle should I use for checking the sex?

You can probably wait a while before sexing, unless you just want to do it and find out. I did some accidental sexing by switching it to 12/12 cycle, which happened after it grew its 3rd set of leaves. You may have to stick your nose to the plant to smell it when its that small. What are you doing as far as a watering schedule?

WAIT
dont do what you did last time, it was a cool grow but you have to wait until you put it all the way into flower. or it will show pre-flowers if it gets old enough in veg (in some strains)
the veg time depends on how big you want it to get, whats ur time and space situation?

Sunday was the schedualed date to start 18/6 but it looks a little small to stop 24/0.
What do you guys think I should do? Keep 24/0 or 18/6?

take it off 24/0, its an unnatural light cycle and doesnt let the plant properly build up its roots (the basis of its health) during the seedling stage

solution: put it on 20/4, thats what i start my seedlings on and it works amazing - then 18/6 after another couple days
how old is she now, ill put up a comparison with my two

yo danky, here's a little what to look forward to - the first shots are my 2 week old bagseed, and the next is my 4 day white widow
the white widow stretched a little cus of weird light placement, but looks close to yours
my bagseed had early nitrogen deficiency signs cus of the starter soil mix i put it in but i fixed it and transplanted it into a bigger pot with some compost soil.

cheef on!

with those lights might as well go 24/0 plants dont need nighttime to govern their sleep like humans do . theyll sleep whenever they need to. and ^^ dude your plants should stay in your thread.. i mean keep the pity seperate.
both look way overwatered.

firstly, he invited a comparison early in the thread when i offered it, so i'm not hijacking the thread - i put my picture up there solely for DANKY to look at it to monitor his plants growth- NOT for you to nitpick

secondly,WRONG, plants definitely do need nighttime, why do you think that its so important it be 12 hours pitch black in flower?
during nightime they stop using ATP for photosynthesis, and put CO2 into the calvin cycle to create more carbon sugar phosphates for the root growth taking place, along with the cell division - so there's you're textbook Biology major's explanation of why you do need nighttime
oh, that and why danky's plant is over a week old bleached out and tiny

back to danky's thread please?

...... dude your pics are sad comparisons....dont be showing people how to overwater.
dont get defensive over there stuck in books. just take it in. obviously the OP is not in flower....
heres what 3 weeks from seed should look like.

I agree with the 3 week sample seen prior to this post. I am on 24 hours a day and my 8 day old is much bigger and healthier then Danky's.

Good luck with the grow bud!

Looking good mate. You've progressed slightly from your previous grow which is a sure sign of learning. Stay positive and keep it up.
