Ae86, jzx100, celica, aristo, and many many more. Yeah, Toyota only made 1 good car lol.

Very interesting news though, more investigation defo required! I hope this doesn't impact the progress of the toyobaru!

This was just on the news in Aus. Limited to USDM and it's neighbours. That is a massive recall, so many models includng the most popular.

I totally forgot about the land cruiser too. FJ all the way! Some (most) of the best 4x4s are from Toyota.

Supras have amazing potential power and I can see why people love the styling... Hardly a great car to drive though. The American car market baffles me though, y'all call locally made cars imports, and imported chassis/engineering are considered American cars lol.

Has anyone had experience with this alleged pedal problem? From witness reports it seems more complicated than a physically sticking pedal.

Turns out the Japanese spaced the brake and accelerator pedals too close together. they used the Japanese measurement, and didn't allow for FAT ARSE American feet.

They forgot to allow for the WalMart variance.

I brought my Tundra in several times for that exact problem, would be at a light and all of a sudden it would start surging , good brakes though kept it in check. they never could find the problem and I got rid of it soon after.

A good friend of mine had a 2 stage turbo on his 1100 HP Supra. Drove it every day commuting and never had a problem in 4 years.

I'm sure Detroit is... :blsmoke:

What if their fix it method was a bungy chord to pull the pedal up. Then we can confirm that everyone really is a stoner.

so i wonder if my old place of employment is gonna still be pushing all of that kazian sh*t and lean... they leaned so much, they ended up laying off about 20% of the workforce and expect the rest to pick up the slack.. couldn't have come at a better time for american car manufacturers really..
