Good alternative to Limewire?

I use Frostwire - which is basically Limewire Pro except free and without the BS.
I use Frostwire, I thought it was the Linux version of Limewire, needing no crossover scripts or anything like that. I use Azureus for the torrents.

Torrents torrents torrents!

All these suggestions like " Use utorrent, torrentz, soulseek" etc are all sources where you can download these files.
From there you will need a program to manage these, Azureus works great, it has a very clean simple interface that any beginner can pick up and master in seconds.

When looking for torrent files be sure to find one with a good seeder to leecher ratio.

Seeders are people who feed the files information back to people making it faster, leechers are using that ..so pay attention to the seeder leacher ratio

If you have a 10gb file with 2 seeders and 300 leechers chances are you will never finish downloading that file. Now if its the other way around you should have it done fairly quickly.

Torrents are really nice because there are millions to be easily found on the internet and you can get ANYTHING! From audiobooks, to music albums, even discographies of music groups you like, movies, games, pictures, you name it!

I dont know how corrupt files work or virus's but I can tell you this. Unlike the communities feeding to limewire who misname files and are out to fuck up your computer or mislead you, the torrents community based on my experience are here to share with one another and help people out.

I have gotten many many corrupt, incomplete, misleading files form limewire but not once have I had a single problem with torrents.

Do yourself a favor and go pick up azureus from Azureus.com
Then google some good torrent sites such as mininova.org

I wrote this so you would trust me and try these out over the other posts simply because they are popular and trusted! And backup on this is appreciated :D

Happy pirating
