pretty much what it says. I started my winter grow with 2 ak47 autflowers. One ended up whispy and harsh (Had a bad cal/mag deficiancy). Other one is pretty elicious though. I am using the whispy one and the rest fo the trimmings for the bubble hash. I think I have a 4 screen kit, but can't really remember because i bought them a long time ago and never used them. I will post pictures in a bit. I just got the water and ice, need to clean a couple 5 g first and give the buds a little more time to freeze. I have about a half of a half gallon worth of stuff (Probably 1.5 of nuggage though). Pretty excited to see what I end up with.

Wake and bake

Did you dry your material or go with it wet? I was told to not dry but most how-too's say to use dry material. Anyone with any thoughts or experience?

i pressed it pretty dry. The bags came with a pressing cloth. Basically a piece of the finest filter. I spooned the pile on to it, folded it in half, then put a few pieces of paper towel on eachside, then pressed between 2 books...got most of the moisture out.

I should have been more clear. In the beginning of the process. Before you froze your material. Did you dry it or did you use it wet? Not the hash itself. The plant matter. Did you dry your plant matter before you made the hash?

First off I am no pro. I have very limited experience but have done LOTS of research.. That being said...

When you make bubble hash all you are doing is freezing the tricrombes to make them brittle, then you just gotta break them off and separate them. Once separated you have (unpressed) hash...

(Assuming you are using high quality plants) Less potent hash (correct me if I'm wrong) is less potent because of the plant material that has been broken up small enough that it is able to pass through the screen to become part of the final product..

SOOO.. It is my opinion that:fresh leaves will be less brittle and therefor less able to break up and less likely to make it through the screen and in the end leaving you with only pure tricrombes which ultimately means the most potent hash possible from your plant..bongsmilie:lol:
