Gone Yellow

This plant has had a rough go of it. It is a Green Crack, that I trained the shit out of to make it as small as I could. (Newbie central, making sure it fit my 2x4x5 tent).

2 seperate power outages of 48 hours or more, during early flower gave it a yellow tinge that never went away, and the last week it has yellowed and went to shit.

It yellowed from the top, I hit it with cal-mag.

Thoughts for a newbie going forward?

How far along are you? Where is your water coming from, and what's the ppm(s)? Then what are you feeding her, (how much and how often)? And are you giving her any supplements, (if so, how much and how often)?

Based off the information you gave us, it looks like a potassium lockout from probably too much calmag. An excess of calcium can inhibit the intake of potassium, thus giving you this burned look. However, as the plant initially locks it can look like other deficiencies/ issues. Now, the first two weeks of flower the plant can suck up a lot of nitrogen. You were probably seeing yellowing and should have fed it N, not necessarily calmag. A lot of new growers look at a lockout initially as a deficiency and up there feeding in some way e.g. more nitrogen or more calmag. As far as fixing the issue, I would flush with water PH'd to around 6.5 . Do this for a few days, then if the plant looks like it needs to be fed more, begin feeding at most 1/2 of what you were feeding and bring it up daily as the plant responds. You should be able to recognize this and have time to correct it, so don't worry. Remember the acronym KISS- Keep It Stupid Simple. If you find yourself in a position where you are trying something to fix an issue and the issue is getting worse, always flush and try a different approach.
