I've heard from an older guy I meet that he used to use goldfish as his fertilizer, he said he would put 2 or 3 dead or alive fish in the soil cover them with more soil then add his seed.. I haven't gotten to try this yet but would anyone know if it would produce enough nutrients for the plants?

My friend was big into fish and aquariums, he told me that gold fish produce more N than most of the others. For that reason, he said that you really cant mix goldfish with others. Also, aquatic plants usually go well in a goldfish tank. Or, you could gravel filter the crap out the bottom. It is packed full of benefical microbes and its going to be high N. Haha, it looks like a penis pump lol.... Siphon tube/cleaner about $5 on ebay.

I've heard of people watering with their dirty fish tank water. Supposed to be loaded with goodies.
