Attitude gave me 2 free reg goji OG seeds and they were both females. I know some unlucky people buy 11 packs and find 2-3 fems in it.
I was lucky
I took clones from them and tried to test my home made mapito. Its basically construction type of rockwool. Not even horticultiral stuff (like grodan etc).
And its not mixed with coco or PU flakes like its sold commercially. Mapito is not available in my counrty but I've had to try it.
Slicing the rockwool into small pieces was a pain in the ass and I was not even sure that it'd work. (wear a facemask and use latex gloves if You try this)
The stuff is washed several times and soaked in ph 5.0 water overnight, then rooted clones are transplanted.
Both plants are 3 weeks old since the transplant. Half liter pots, same nutes. Bottom fed with grow micro bloom only. Under 150 watt HPS.
The mapito plant is topped yesterday, because its growing at least 2 times faster than the one in coco. But has almost no side branching yet.
I top, train, heavy feed, light feed. Trying this and that... You know what I mean
With my home made mapito, Im hoping for a little shorter veg time and increased yields. My yields usually suck and I cant really go over .25 to .30 gram per watt.
Ill be posting more about the progress, and would like to hear comments / suggestions.
